Great treatment of my back pain.
He carefully checked over my chart and successfully treated my lumbar stenosis pain with perfectly placed epidural steroid injections. He has a wonderful team of caring nurses and a radiologist. His practice represents the best in compassionate and effective care.

Dr Stork Did a Great Job
Dr Stork did a great job in finding the location of my back pain that I've been struggling with for several years now. Previously, I've tried stretching, meds, walking, cortisone shots and each helped some but now Pain Management located the problem and did a test to confirm where the problem is. The doctor is proceeding with a treatment that sounds like it should finally minimize the pain.

1st bad episode was at 3rd pain clinic appt where he totally lost it because I told him my neurologist had started me on a new med, but wanted him to work the dose upward (as it should be) because he would see me monthly, so he could better monitor it. He yelled about it and said he was going to report the neurologist. At a later appt, he lost it again over an accidental misplacement of pills in wrong bottle (by nurse who counted them). Then he lost it again when my neurologist referred me to Duke to confirm a longstanding diagnosis with which Dr. Stark disagreed (even though it wasn't within his specialty) and when the diagnosis was confirmed and I conveyed that information, he refused to look at the report and stormed out of the room. We eventually found him in the hall after waiting for about 15 minutes. Nurse came in shortly after with prescriptions but they skipped days of treatment and Dr. Stork refused to adjust the prescription to cover those days.

Dr. Stork is 1 hell of a good Pain Dr. He is very precise in what, how and where he does anything. The wait time to see him can vary from not to long to omg...can i order a pizza... but then again that's the way it is at most pain clinics.
