Dr. Takemoto recently did a revision of my right-side hip replacement. I found her very competent, professional, confident, compassionate, empathic, efficient. She did an excellent job on my hip replacement, Unfortunately she left the clinical practice recently. I only hope to be able to find her again when my left-side hip replacement needs a revision. I am estimating that will need to happen within 2023. She’s the best.

In April of 2015 I had a tree crush my leg, was told I had no pulse, ER doctor use external fixator and 2 days later Dr Takemoto used an IM nail to connect tibia, than put together my fibular. I own her much thanks for taking her time and expertise to save my leg. A year later I had all the metal taken out. I now walk and swim thanks to her and the orthopedic department at Wilcox hospital on Kauai, Hawaii. Thank you doctor very much, hope you are well, John Cooney

Highly professional, thorough and caring. I was treated for a severe accident while on vacation and required complex and difficult surgery. Upon returning to my home on the mainland I received followup treatment from my personal orthopedic surgeon--a highly rated and respected surgeon--who has told me on several occasions, the surgeon in Hawaii did a superb job.
