Worst Experience Ever
I relocated from Atlanta here just prior to the pandemic. Had a mild heart attack and needed a primary care physician after being released from cardiac care. Was referred by a colleague to Hassan. I’m usually a healthy person until the stress of the pandemic. First visit was okay, but not too warm. When I went for my annual visit she accused me of being on drugs, said I was obese at 242lbs and was very rude; worst bedside manners I have seen. Last year, she was insulted because I had seen my cardiologist more than her…until I’m released from his care, what else would I do…duh! Then asked me “Why are you here?” This year my annual visit was canceled twice without notice, then rescheduled because she was going on a trip. If I hadn’t looked at Mychart I would’ve never known! I wouldn’t refer my worst enemy to her!!

Insensitive and doesn't listen
I have never felt more upset after leaving a doctors appointment. I went to establish care and talk about meds and my thyroid levels. Dr.Hassan definitely did not look at my chart before coming in and quickly told me I needed to lose weight and that would solve all my problems. Those being anxiety and adhd. I have been on medicine for both for awhile now and she said she didn't feel comfortable "diagnosing me" and referred me to a psychiatrist. I got labs done and the only thing she messaged me about was my cholesterol and I had to ask about my thyroid levels that were double what they should have been. When I called to ask for more labs they agreed but said it was probably just because I needed to lose weight. When the new labs came back high as well they prescribe meds. I have a long fam history of thyroid and that should have been considered.

I was a patient of hers for a while. She would come into the room and look at me as if she was disgusted and didn't want to be there. I had been on a particular medicine and she decided that I didn't need to take it and she did not write me a prescription for it and walked out. The medicine was as such that you were not to stop taking without tapering off it. I had a terrible time with getting it out of my system, I had withdrawals for weeks. I would not even take my dog to her.

She basically accused me of lying about a condition I’ve had for over ten years and was of no help. Has absolutely no bedside manner. I’ll be finding a new practice.

I had been a patient at this group since the mid 80s. I had seen four different Doctors over the years before being placed with Dr Hassan. Her nurse gave her opinion (which I respected) that Dr Hassan was going to be a good Doctor. I found that to not be true in my case. The final blow came when I needed a handicap permit and called on Wednesday morning but had not been called by Friday. I stopped by the office to see if there was a problem and was told I would get a call when it was ready.
