Telehealth
I saw this doctor by telehealth for several months. Sometimes I could clearly see he wasn't listening to the answers I gave him. He just said to keep taking the same meds and then charged me. I later learned from another doctor that two of the medications were in the same class and should not have been prescribed together. Avoid.

Incompetent, should not be practicing
Telehealth
On multiple occasions he has nearly killed me by mixing the wrong drugs or telling me 'there's no withdrawal'. He is condescending and doesn't listen to his patient, only wants to read off his list of pills and kick and you out. Avoid.

He gave my husband a short quiz, misdiagnosed him and put him on a medication he should not have had, which led to a mental health crisis. He should not be practicing.

I was unraveling
Telehealth
Coming from a family that thought mental health was a joke, I allowed my state to worsen beyond belief. Everything about my life started falling apart as I developed PTSD. Had no clue what it was. Doctor Goldin-Mertdogan helped me and is still helping through this moment as we work towards stitching my life back together.

Pills Pills Pills
This man overmedicated my son to the point of nearly being killed. If you want a psychiatrist that listens and cares for his patients go somewhere else. If you want pills, this is your guy.

I am very happy with this Dr. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and feelings. He asks good questions to pinpoint certain issues before diagnosing, or prescribing meds. He's open to changing directions if something's not working, and listens to feedback and suggestions from the patient. I feel very comfortable talking with him. He listens and is very caring. He's someone your not afraid to open up to. I would highly recommend this Dr. He has really helped me and a few of my family members. Thank you Dr John!
