Find a different primary care physician
Prior to my mother's passing, Dr. Sobti was her primary care physician. I went to all the visits with her, so I am speaking from first-hand experience. The doctor was always condescending and downright rude. I did not trust her judgement, and had she been my doctor, I would have found another one. My mother did not want to go through the trouble of starting with a new doctor, so she stayed with the practice. The staff was just okay, nothing to write home about. They seemed to change frequently, so nobody ever got to know who we were. With all the doctors in the area, it should be very easy to find one that is better than Dr. Sobti.

Rude people here.
My first visit I was very happy. But if you start needing any help or prescriptions, it will take them months to get anything done if it gets done at all. The office staff is rude and so is Dr. Sobti.

Not going back
I’ve been seeing Dr Sobti for over a year. I thought we’d get to know each other and she would warm up. That has not been the case. The visits have been rushed. She acts superior as if a patient wouldn’t understand. She scolded me for not taking an over the counter medication that I had tried on my own and stopped thinking I didn’t need it and it is quite expensive. She had not instructed me to take it. She sarcastically said I should be takin it because I was having a side effect from another medicine and it would help. I didn’t know. I felt defensive. I don’t think I should be defensive when I’m talking to my primary doctor. I so t be goi g back. I should have read the reviews on Healthgrades first.

Terrible, nasty, and unprofessional office staff.
I didn’t have a mask ( I forgot to bring one) after the nurse asking me several times if I have a mask finally she offers me one saying “ we can’t do this anymore, next time I won’t give you one, you need to bring your own mask”. When I asked the same nurse why she is not wearing a mask herself she told me she doesn’t need to wear one because she get tested everyday and she got really nasty and rude and asked me to take a seat. I ended leaving the doctor office without seeing the doctor. In one in my previous visits the doctor told me “ I am not gonna waste my time by educating you because you don’t listen”. Really ?? Wasting her time ?? Yesterday visit was the end of my reaction and my wife’s relation with this doctor office.

Terrible office staff!
Terrible, nasty office staff. Unprofessional, and low class. Doctor is nice, but too rigid and too much by the book. She is friendly enough. She needs a new staff of polite, friendly girls.

Dr. Sobti has no warmth or compassion. I had just started seeing her as my PCP and she told me I needed to lose weight, which I explained I knew and knew what I had to do, but wasn't yet in a mental state where I was prepared to do so. I also mentioned that I wanted to lose weight and was going to make the best efforts in the coming months to get back on track. Her advice to me: "Eat more salad." That was it. That was her advice to me. I understand that weight affects our health and it's a doctor's duty to tell us. But "Eat more salad" isn't a response I find acceptable, particularly to someone who has acknowledged the need and desire to lose weight.

Quit going to Dr Sobti. I did not feel she knew her profession well enough. I always left with feeling that I had just been examined by an Doctor at the level of an EMT

Dr. Sobti seems to be pleasant enough but here are our complaints: My husband needs a physical renewal every two years for his job as a sailing instructor. He needed her signature to be able to submit his paperwork for his certification. It took her one month the first time he submitted the paperwork. He had his cardiologist fill out all the pertinent information, Dr. Sobti just had to sign it. One month! Okay, maybe it was a fluke. So again this year he submitted his paperwork and again it took 1 month and 4 phone calls to get her to sign the form. If she didn't want to do it for some reason, just tell him so he can get the signature by another doctor. Instead, he lost his income during the whole disaster. Today I called the office for a sick visit and was told that because I had a cold, they were not able to see me and I should go t o urgent care! Why have a doctor if you can't see her when you are sick? I agree with the other review, she just wants to bill, bill, bill.

I like Dr Sobti. She is very knowledgeable and will refer you to a specialist when needed. Yes she expects you to visit her periodically to track your health concerns. Unfortunately I have several specialists & don’t always visit the doctor for routine exams. She also expects you to be compliant with her recommendations for treatments. I see this as a caring doctor concerned with your health. I have referred several of my friends to her practice. She is thorough, caring and listens.
