Dr. Rita Herzing, MD

Impossible to get in touch with once you leave the office. I have an inbox full of messages from over the years that went unanswered or were blown off. I don't know if the problem is the nurses not getting her messages or her lack of time to answer them. My husband is also a patient and just received the most STUPID advice from her nurses today after he had a visit earlier in the week and was told to contact her if his condition did not change. I would stay away. I am in the process of finding a new doctor.

Dr. Herzing has been our PCP for many years. I have never had any type of communication issues with her. She is open and honest when discussing test results and always has my best interest in heart. She continues to provide premium healthcare through listening and discussing options with a very straight forward approach. Much appreciation!

delay in responding to prescription refill

I started with Dr. Herzing when my PCP retired. I wasn't happy to change doctors...and then I met her. She is, by far, the best doctor I have ever had. She listens, she cares, she is an excellent diagnostician. She is very down to earth. I have never felt more cared for. I can't recommend her enough.

She acted appalled I had past early cancer. Said my health makes her nervous. Very upsetting to me

Dr. Herzing can be an arrogant, uncaring person at times. She does not listen well to patients or investigate their concerns. If the problem is not in her limited repertoire of standard ailments, she is dismissive and condescending—and clueless. If you need a typical prescription, like birth control, she’s good for that. Otherwise, stay far away from this narcissist.

Dr Herzing takes the time to listen to you. The appt never feels rushed. She is knowlegeable.

Always no matter what has your complete health situation at heart if she can’t help will continue to work to find correct Procedures or dr to hel and her entire staff are always available and completely helpful love them all. K Kleinprochazka

Dt. Herzing takes the time to listen to you unlike other doctors. She never rushes me no matter how many questions I always have. She does a great job at diagnosing what I'm suffering from. If not, she will send you to a specialist, send me for various tests to rule out any health issues. She's very down to earth and compasionate.

Dr. Herzing listens carefully, then recommends tests or specialists to get to the source of a problem. She responds quickly with results and follows up to see that the issue is resolved. She encourages preventive care and lifestyle changes that result in long-term good health. When she is not available for an immediate need her colleagues are helpful and communicate fully with Dr. Herzing.
