Exceptional Physician
Last year I started having horrific symptoms and was in and out of the hospital. Dr. Ritsema took me on as an emergency case and after diagnosing my IBD, prescribed me just the right treatment (on the very first try) to keep it in check. I am in remission now thanks to her, and so incredibly thankful for her prompt and expert care.

Dr. Ritsema has an excellent bedside manner & takes her time with you while you’re in the examination room. She is extremely down to earth & doesn’t act like she is smarter than you b/c she is a Dr. You’d be hard pressed to find another G.I. doctor who truly cares about their patients the way Dr. Ritsema does!
