Dr. Rita Sanders II, DO

Dr Sanders was the hospitalist at Willow Creek when I gave birth there. Upon meeting me she started yelling at me and my husband, told me my baby would be 'well over 10 pounds' and that I was going to have massive tearing. She refused to give me an epidural or any pain relief unless I agreed to a c-section. When I finally agreed to have a c-section she left me for almost 2 hours, still in pain. And when she did come back to perform the procedure, she made fun of me. When my baby turned out to be a normal size she said nothing. She didn't sign any of my hospital paperwork, and didn't describe the type of closure she used in my medical files. Everywhere it says 'attending physician' is blank, there were no care instructions from her. Another doctor check to see if there were stitches which would need to be removed. She should not be a doctor.

I love Dr Sanders! She really knows what she is doing and I trust her 100%. The best birth experience I have ever had. My other 2 kids I had tons of stitches after I gave birth and recovery was horrible, she helped me take it slow and delivered my son without any tearing or hard recovery. And he was almost 9 pounds, 2 lbs more than my first and 1.5 lbs more than my second but with Dr Sanders help I did not tear at all.

She was the most inconsiderate, unkind, and arrogant physician I've ever encountered . She was negligent with information I gave her during my pregnancy which resulted in a failure to prevent a post partum hemorrhage after my birth. She never asked how you were feeling and made you feel stupid for having a birth plan.
