Excellent care
Dr. Kuno is very knowledgeable and has an excellent awareness of historic patient information. When I saw him the first time he asked important questions, reviewed tests and imaging and gave excellent medical advice and direction. At my follow-up visit Dr. Kuno had a complete awareness of the previous visit and proceded with a care plan that was thorough and progressive. I appreciate that he listens well and gives good medical information as well as takes my viewpoint regarding how I feel, what my assessment of my condition is and hears my goals regarding how I have improved my health status. He is one of the few physicians who did not imply that he knows more about me than I do. He is a good, honorable man and an amazing physician. Dr. Kuno has a reliable, courteous and efficient staff who are also kind and friendly!

Patient referred to Kuno. During his evaluation, he recommended more tests schedule periodically over several months. Miscommunications between JWC and Kuno's office occurred when scheduling tests. In hindsight, seemed no urgency in getting tests done quickly. Kuno was timely in discussing test results with patient after each test. However, when all tests were finally completed, another doctor visually reviewed all test results in sequence on a computer with the patient and the doctor specifically pointed out that each test showed the disease had rapidly spread. That doc also said there was another contributing underlying serious condition showing up in same test results. This progression of the disease and underlying condition were not addressed by Kuno during his explanation of test results. Tests should have been done sooner, a better explanation of each test was needed, and patient should have been referred to a doctor immediately who specialized only in the critical illness.

I found Dr. Kumo to be friendly and very knowledgeable. He asseted the meds I take and gave me a breathing test and gave me a kit to clean wash out my sinuses. I was surprised to find that he is so much better than other reviews I read before my appointment. I’ll definitely go back to him.
