Stay away!
She a a nasty, unpleasant woman. She spoke to my parent as if they were a child! She made veiled threats to have them taken out of there home and forced into a county nursing home. She is a terrible person who should not work with ANY patients, especially elderly patients! Take my advice, find a different Dr.

Terrible terrible doctor. Doesn’t care about patients. DO NOT bring your aging parent to this doctor. She will not care about them and will not make sure they are fed or probably cared for, she just watches from the side. I have never seen such awful medical care in my life.

Terrible doctor. Doesn’t care about patients. Doesn’t answer calls. Doesn’t provide medically appropriate care. Probably the worst doctor I have ever experienced

Dr Suri Provided Excellent Care
My wife has late stage Alzheimer's Disease and I decided to have her see a geriatrician several weeks ago. Dr. Suri took excellent care of my wife and had all the right recommendations for her treatment. The inital evaluation was very thorough. Her staff was very helpful and responsive. The office actually answers the phones and Dr. Suri does call back quickly, often hard to find these days. But after seeing my wife twice, rather than string us along, she suggested that my wife might be better served by hospice, given her advanced condition, even though nobody has given my wife less than 6 months to live. Dr. Suri's judgement was correct and my wife is now receiving excellent care under hospice. We couldn't have asked for better service.

DONT TAKE YOUR AGING PARENT HERE. SURI is the worst doctor and she has the rudest staff ever. She says she is a gerontologist but does not care if she makes the 88 yo patient wait TWO HOURS for a scheduled appointment. And she didn't have the X-ray results that were done two weeks earlier. And she never ordered the blood tests she promised. The staff -- especially Corina and Nancy are absolutely terrible. No wonder blood pressure rates skyrocket in their waiting room.

My father was looking for a new internist after his retired. After a heart attack, a doctor at the hospital recommended Dr. Suri and we are extremely impressed and happy. The doctor office was wonderful to make an appointment. The doctors assistant took down all his relevant health information before he even went in. Dr. Suri spent almost two hour on his first visit. Was extremely kind and thorough, explaining everything as she went through his medical history.

My mother was @ rehab & got excellent care from Dr Suri. The problem began when she was released. Her office faxed a list of 14 meds/supplements Mom was to take that were written on 3 pieces of prescription pad paper. We called her receptionist 3 separate times & were rudely told to call the pharmacist. On the 3rd try, we insisted somebody on the staff explain the meds. She grudgingly agreed & then incorrectly identified one of them. Why didn't she have a medical assistant or NP call us back?
