Great Doctor
Very knowledgeable doctor, exceptional for patients over 50. Takes the time to listen to a patient. I am very happy with the chance to have him as my PD.

Patient
Always too busy with something else. Obviously isn't interested in patient input. Quick to dismiss patient statements concerning personal well being. When not condescending, apathetic. Quick to walk out.

I wouldn't recommend him at all!
My experience with Dr. Demuro is he has a problem listening! He hears fine! He doesn't seem to hear adverse reactions to medications taken in the past and in my situation pushed his opinions even when I was uncomfortable with them. Additionally, he has more than once rolled his eyes when he disagreed with my experience. He then loaded Mychart with snarky passive/aggressive comments that will follow me if I go elsewhere. My last 3 doctors with UVM were wonderful. All female, and all retired from the group. They all listened and worked with me, and "we" navigated my sensitivities to medicines together -- it worked well! I have been with this group for 10 years. I feel when they left the practice, he was my token prize. I feel his Igo is his problem. I could probably say more negatives thing about Dr. Demuro but that might not be your experience. I hope you will do your research. You could have to live with things in your chart too if you find he is not to your likings later.

Doctor does his best
UVM obviously puts unrealistic time constraints on the staff and most of the staff don't seem to even want to be in health care. But Dr. Demuro does his best to cover every concern and listens with care.
