Terrible doctor
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. You have better luck curing yourself at home.

Absolutely awful doctor. He dismisses your concerns and tries to talk down to you — if you can even get in touch with him. There have been many times where my grandmother or mother couldn’t get in touch, and once where he couldn’t be contacted for 5 days and we were referred to the on-call doctor (who was much better but has clearly been intimidated by Dr. Allen since he’s the senior doctor in the office). Under his care my grandmother was rushed to the ER with kidney failure — which the doctor at the hospital confirmed was due to the cocktail of drugs that Allen had put her on. Both my family and my grandmother said she did not want to be placed on some of the medications, but since she is in an assisted living facility that gives her medications to her (and she can’t reject any of them if they’re on the doctor’s list), she was forced to take them. She’s done nothing but get worse under his care and he refuses to help the situation, but Medicare makes it difficult to switch doctors.

I am a former patient of Robert Allen. I decided to terminate him as my PCP, due to his culturally insensitive remarks he made to me during our last meeting. He was also very condescending when communicating with me. However, once he remembered I am a Registered Nurse his tune quickly changed. He shouldnt treat anyone with such disrespect, but he did and does. The only reason why I rate him with one star is because I cannot give him negative stars. Don't waste your time or money on him.

He was my Doctor for 15 years. He left about 5 years ago, and I was very sick. My replacement Doctor found the problem. He came back to the clinic, but I will not go to him again.

I would never recommend this doctor. Not even to my worst enemy. This doctor ( especially receptionist Liz and supervisor Lou Conrad). Treat their patients like they are idiots, unable to make decisions, and just stupid. All staff are unsensative to elderly patients. Dr cannot not keep reasonable schedules for patients. Last patient by supervisors words usually run at least 1.5 hrs late. Why can't the patient be told all this
