Dr. Robert Ballard, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Ballard for almost 10 years. He personally is great, but I don't like the practice. It is hard to get a hold of people real time, and since COVID Dr. Ballard is only takes telehealth appointments, which I don't like

Dr. Ballard is terrific. He is patient and listens, then works with you to find the right test, study, and/or treatment. He has a comforting demeanor, relaxed and I did not feel rushed.

If you are suffering from Sleep Apnea…A-Fib and want help - do NOT come to this practice. Chances of ever talking with Dr. Ballard are slim to none. Professionals (???) answering the phone might as well not exist. Will be taking our situation to the next level - sad and heart breaking. My husband has been in desperate need of a bi-pap mask for almost 6 months…does anyone care? NOPE…he is now back in A-Fib…thanks for nothing.

Doctor is great, however it took a month just to get an appointment. No one answers the phone. Their recording says leave a message and someone will call you…but they don’t. Then once you finally do get an appointment, it takes forever again to get test results or any other medical actions. I was told I need to go on oxygen. My first appointment was 6 months ago and I’m still waiting for it. Good thing I’m not critical or I’d be dead by now

I love Dr. Ballard. He is warm and caring and he knows his stuff. He goes above and beyond in explaining relevant medical information. I would recommend him 100 percent.

Do you enjoy never talking to a human being and leaving messages that don’t get returned, then this is the office for you!!! Prefer a virtual visit? Well this is a guaranteed mess as you’ll have zero access to help and zero humans available to help you with the process. Frustrated and want to talk to the doctor about these complaints? Don’t worry as Dr. Ballard will shift the blame back to his office and claim that it’s not his area, despite it being his practice. This office is horrendous. Choose your doctors carefully…

I have not scheduled an appointment. If I do, it will have to be via Telehealth. I received an URGENT: Medical Device Recall Notification. I don't know how long that has been in my real mail box. I feel very comfortable visiting the practice and have recommended Dr. Ballard to several friends.

Dr Ballard is professional, knowledgeable and personable.

I need to adjust a post I did earlier: I said staff was not good,. No. Staff , is good. It is Inogen oxygen that is the problem, not DR. Ballards office or his staff. Being an Insurance broker & patient.’, I get involved on both sides. As of 10-20-2020 I am having a terrible time with Inogen oxygen, billing & customer service. ??. One REP in particular.

Dr Ballard was nice, kind, and knowledgeable about my situation. Very pleasant and reassuring of my assessment.

Excellent! Dr Ballard was able to quickly privide the care and equipment I had been trying to get for over a year and a half. He explains everything very clearly and in an easy to understand way. Highly recommend him to all!

I have seen Dr. Ballard for several years. His knowledge, care and kindness have always been way above my expectations. Without his help, I would still be a walking zombie with no life. I do what he suggests and it always works!

WORST doctor I have ever seen!!! Save your time and your money! I went to him (by referral from GP) for sleep issues related to my hyperthyroidism and he told me my sleep issue was "all in my head". Clearly that is not the case if I have a clinical diagnosis. He would not write me a prescription for a sleeping pill. I also happened to have a sinus infection and he told me that it would just go away on it's own. Ended up in the urgent care still needing an antibiotic. He also walked out!

Good manners (but clinically sterile personality). Good listener but seemed to want to avoid responsibility. Personally admitted both orally and in documentation that technique administered by his technician was incorrect. Results communicated at debrief were hurried and indicated his desire to avoid any further involvement in my case. Did not meet expectations as advertised by my GP (Dr. Ballard was a referral).

Excellent knowledge, care and bedside manner.

I like Dr. Ballard. I found him to be personable and knowledgeable and he has diagnosed and provided great care of my severe sleep apnea. Maybe other reviewers are part of the conversation problem. I found him easy to talk to when I visit.
