Dr. Robert Barrett, DO

Doesn’t read patient file, write script for anaphylaxis medication , doesn’t do health bloodwork only drug testing for the elderly. Awful staff awful portal 1 visit of 4 billed in person. 6 min where phone cut off no give and take in discussion. Outdated equipment, empty wait room should have been warning. No explanation of what is billed and what purpose. Just issues billing tickets for important things like draw a clock at 12 and 2 and leads for EKG on ankles. Very arrogant and should practice medicine for poor people for a lesson in humility. It’s like grocery store medicine but making Medicare and CMS pay for services that never happened. Doesn’t hear questions abrupt with the 7 minute allotment for telehealth billables and a very very poor doctor who should never be considered a family doctor.

Changed meds 4 times sent in script for vitamins and sent in script for med I’m allergic to.. Never read my medical file overcharged Medicare on 6 min zoom visits 2023-24 NEVER even checked LDL HDL but tested me for THC and METH! I’m 69 and am not a drug dealer.

I have always received the best care. Dr. Barrett reads your file before he comes into the room. So he is already familiar the reason for your visit. He takes as much time as needed. Sometimes I have a list of questions. He has never made me feel he was in a hurry. You can tell Dr. Barrett has compassion for his patients. I appreciate Him so very much. I live in Charlotte North Carolina and I drive 4 hours for my appointments. Definitely worth the drive for the Care I receive from Dr. Barrett. Sincerely, Angela S. Leeson

Dr. Scott Barrett discovered I had been in touch with another doctor at the clinic (a woman doctor) for possible change in doctors and they discussed that I should see a different doctor "for the elderly"....his secretary told me this over the phone yesterday 12/30/16 around 4:15pm. I asked her to have him renew a request from United Health Care for medication I desperately need for leg cramps....taken at bedtime to keep my legs from cramping. Secretary said he's is no longer your doctor!:(

Dr. BARRETT READS MY CHART BEFORE ENTERING MY EXAM ROOM AND ADDRESSES MY CURRENT ISSUES, AND ASKING ABOUT PREVIOUS ISSUES AND TREATMENTS. HE LISTENS TO MY CONCERNS AND ADDRESSES ALL. AND IMPORTANTLY HE DOES NOT OVER-PRESCRIBE. I FEEL FORTUNATE TO HAVE FOUND HIM UPON MOVING HERE FROM FLORIDA TWO YEARS AGO.
