Doctor Lurate performed two total knee replacements for me. Extremely pleased with the results on both knees. Excellent doctor answered all my questions good bedside manner, very professional .Highly recommend.

My family and I have used Dr Lurate for over ten years. Would see no one else. He is an excellent skilled and caring physician. Did not like the office and staff when he was at the Medical Center Clinic. Much better now and like it was before he joined the the Medical Center Clinic. Thank you Dr Lurate.. Don't retire anytime soon!!

He repaired my hand when the thumb bone was shattered with a skil saw. I have 98% use of my hand and thumb. He did a great job putting it back together.

Dr luray did my hip replacement 5 years ago I have another surgery with him this year for a back surgery I wouldn't go to surgery with any other doctor other than him I feel safe due to the fact that I got into a back accident when I was 42 and with the experience of other experiences that I've had with other surgeons the only two surgeons that I feel safe with is Dr Marshall Jason Marshall and Dr luray if I had to recommend a surgeon to anyone those two would be my choice but that's my personal opinion but then again when you put in your life in somebody's hands and I value my life I can't think of anybody else that I would recommend my name is Mr James Lee Hall Jr and you can call me at 850-525-1522 or email me at jh3600-9999@gmail.com and I say the same thing to you as I'm saying to this evaluation PS Dr larae Dr Marshall there's not enough stars or no chart for you guys thank you very much Mr James we all Jr

Amazing surgical skills

While I like Dr. Lurate, his staff is AWFUL! I've had to call and call to get them to fill out and fax the necessary paperwork so I can get paid. I finally took the form into them myself and was charged $25.00. I'll know tomorrow if they did depending on whether I get paid or not. It's been 3 wks! Everytime I call and leave a message (like the recording says to do) they NEVER call back. I'll call the appt desk, they transfer me and then Shameka's tone is very rude and she acts like I'm bothering her. I just NEED to be paid!!!!! Once I've healed I will NOT go back to Dr. Lurate, just because of his staff!

I am writing this review as i wait with my mother in the waiting room to check her in before her surgery... But of course she’s not able to get her surgery because the office staff has made ANOTHER huge mistake and can’t find her anywhere in the schedule. This has happened multiple times about mix up in appointment scheduling! His office staff absolutely sucks! Michaela has made a bunch of errors and i don’t know why she is still working there. She is completely incompetent THIS IS THE WORST TREATMENT MY MOM HAS EVER HAD.

After being referred to Dr. Lucrate by ER staff, scheduling was Quick and Easy for a Check-up to diagnose a remedy for a Shattered Elbow, the following week I was In for Surgery for reconstruction; The guy was a blessing for someone who Travels from Town to Town, State to State for earning a living; Nearly 1 (One) Year later and I have confidence in the ability to use my Arm once again. He did some Great work, Thanks!

Incompetent staff and arrogant surgeon. Stay away, stay far away!

I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE DR. LURATE ON CALL WHEN I HAD TO HAVE EMERGENCY SURGERY ON A SHATTERER ELBOW A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. I AM STILL RECOMMENDING HIM AND EVERYONE WHO HAS GONE TO HIM ARE MORE THAN SATISFIED BY HIM AND THE QUALITY OF HIS CARE. I HAD TO GO INTO HIS OFFICE FOR STAPLES TO BE REMOVED AND WAS IMPRESSED WITH HIS STAFF AS WELL.

Dr. Lurate is a wonderful doctor and he knows what he is doing. On the other hand, the office staff is very unprofessional. There was a big mess up with the surgery schedule and I already had my disability set up to start a specific day and didn't want that affected. I spoke to the office manager about it and the nurse actually called me back and confronted me on why I said something to her manager, saying she did not say certain things to me when actually she did. Every visit after was awkward.

Dr. Robert Barry Lurate, MD - Pensacola Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Great Doctor we have no complaint with the Doctors and Nurses. Sadly my wife was lied to by Stacey who works at the front desk. My wife showed up for her appiontment today at 3:00PM and was asked for $175.00 payment and we don't have $175.00. We were very surprised by the request. Stacey lied to my wifes face by saying that she told my wife that when she called to confirm todays appointment that my wife would need to pay $175

I could not say enough positive comments relative to the excellent orthopedic care and skill of Dr. Lurate. He is one of the brightest and most skilled surgeons in the entire region. Despite a very busy practice, he manages to stay current on the latest research and review of medical literature as to deliver state of the art and the most advanced surgical techniques available. I have known him since 1997 and he has treated me for several orthopedic conditions all with excellent outcomes.

I was in a bad accident over the holiday weekend so by the time I saw him tuesday my bones had been broke for 3 days. He scheduled me in late afternoon the following day. He explained everything so I understood what was happening. I appreciate his kindness and compassion.
