Beware
DO NOT go to this Dr. EVER. My interaction was by far the worst experience I have ever had in the medical field. I was meeting Dr for a procedure recommended by his colleague - I asked if I could speak to him before procedure. When he walked in he was already clearly aggravated I even wanted to talk to him (mind you I had never met that man and he was going to perform an invasive procedure on me). After asking my questions he practically scolded me telling me how invasive the procedure was and how he was there for one job and one job only. I was in tears and he just stared at me with no care in the world and still proceeded to act aggravated that I even dare spoke to him. I had no shame in letting him know he had the worst bedside manner I had ever encountered. He left the room without even trying to empathize with me or saying another word. I was so appalled I actually opted out of the procedure. The nurse and anesthesiologist both agreed after he left the room that he was terrible to

We met Dr. Bierwirth under distressing conditions (a sudden five-day hospital stay). He was reassuring and arranged appropriate care (including from another find doctor in this practice who was in attendance on a given day). Looking back from the other end of a recovery we truly appreciate his practice's fine and competent care.

I did not receive a timely response to further tests that this doctor authorized. During the two-three week period after this test I had to return to ER where I found out the tests had identified gall stones.
