Dr. Blankfield is a smart, experienced guy with a dry sense of humor and a collection of strange ties. Explains to the degree he thinks you will "get it"-- will answer questions if you want to "drill down." Staff was very friendly.
My pharmacy had trouble doing his refills (which might have been them). Southwest General's billing miscoded & overcharged repeatedly-- and they outsource payment processing and WILL NOT answer calls.
The doctor is terrific; can't recommend the hospital's IT.

The best DR. i have every went to in my life he saved me from destruction and brought me a new life i will never go to another DR. for what he has taken me through he is the best.Have recommended to family members they feel the same way i do.

This is the most wonderful doctor I have ever encountered. Both my husband and I see him. I was afraid of health care and primary care physicians for many years until I met this man. I thank God for him every day. He is thorough and he will make sure that you get what you need and you are well.

very unclear on answers, wait time is always 20-30 after apt. got a bill 6 mo later and now the insurance will not cover due the time of claim, requires visit for Rx refill.

I Rarely get sick but do need to see a Doctor once a year and Highly recommend Dr. Blankfield as he is Very thorough, Polite, and listens to my concerns.
Nice efficient staff as well..

He was my Mother's physician for many years. She is an independent, strong individual and rarely complains about health issues. One of her upper legs/hips were painful. He wanted to give her pain pills-always his prescription. After pressuring him, she went to a specialist. Turned out she had crack in her upper leg bone. He also sent her after classic symptoms of diabetes and almost comatose-blood sugar was over 400 home with a prescription and a blood sugar testing kit. She was hospitalized.
