Dr Brownstein saved my life
Dr Brownstein is not the typical ER doctor as he ran every test possible to find out what was causing my chest and back pain. I went to the ER at UNC Health in Holly Springs. After all tests were run, the doctor discovered a mass on my left lung that turned out to be lung cancer after having a biopsy a couple weeks later. A month later I had part of my lung removed and the cancer was caught very early. Without Dr Brownstein's determination to find out what was going on with me, I might not have known even today that I had that mass on my lung. I could be looking at a totally different prognosis if it wasn't for him. He literally saved my life. He's an excellent ER doctor. UNC Health is very fortunate to have him as a doctor.

I went to Rex ER for my medical emergency and was very fortunate to have Dr. Brownstein as my attending doctor. He provided unsurpassed experience in giving comfort, humor,skill, and speed while handling my condition. This combination excelled at easing both mine and my husband's anxiety during the ordeal. Simply a super awesome guy!
