Dr. Robert Crescentini, MD

Dr. Crescentini is my doctor as well as my husbands. He is a great communicator, empathic and an overall incredible Doctor. The absolute best in Tampa Bay!!!!

Dr Crescentini is AWESOME! Prior to my appointment I emailed approximately 45 pages of medical records that he reviewed & was ready to discuss at my appointment. The fact that he was prepared for my visit told me all I needed to know about him as a doctor. He was kind, welcoming, extremely patient, very knowledgeable & explained everything in detail. He answered all of my questions & put me at ease. I walked in an anxious mess & left with a sense of peace. I also want to give a shout-out to Carmen! She is wonderful! She’s very kind & helped me tremendously prior to & at my appointment. Thank you Carmen!! ??

I have the best experience with dr He’s kind ,caring and very knowledgeable , but they are critical with phone calls and return calls ,front desk never greeting you even when you inicies the greeting, the first words are twenty dollars copayment ,l have call this week three times for lab results and l can’t get through to nurse , with that being said,l still understand and paciente for all the care given in Tampa bay and national while

I had just the opposite experience. My calls have been returned but the best thing is when I go directly to the office without appointment my questions are answered or problem solved. If I walk in for lobwork on blood they jump to it. I did have a problem with one desk staff not very communicative when I called. Called back later and immediately taken care of. Most if not all know my name even though I have 3 month appointments. You can always leave a voice mail message to the nurse although the nurse is new to the practice. We don't have the rapport yet as with Judy but working on it.

Dr. Robert Crescentini is an experienced, intelligent hematologist/medical oncologist. He has a great bedside manner; is compassionate; delves into his patients' medical histories to ascertain the best treatments; thinks out of the box; is up-to-date on the latest medical studies; is knowledgeable; and possesses a strong understanding of pharmacology. He brought me through a harrowing experience and I am forever grateful.

Dr. Crescentini was my hematologist after I had two vertebral artery strokes in November both in the ICU and after care. I was under his care for 7 months. He has wonderful bedside manor and great nurses. He is happy to give a full explanation if you have concerns about medication or your condition.

Messages don't get through to the doctor. When you return his call, office staff will not put you through to him, stating, "He's with patients." If you are having a problem with medication or feeling sick, you are on your own. It will take weeks to get an answer. Office staff, nurses, including the office manager act as if you're bothering them. It's best to take your care elsewhere since they are too "busy" to deal with us lowly patients who are fighting for our lives.
