Been my PCP for 18 years! Highly recommend
Dr. Robert Crouse has been my PCP for 18 years, and I have NEVER had a complaint.He has unfailingly been a great listener, empathetic, patient and caring, and The Portland Clinic is lucky to have him as a provider. (I've been lucky too!!) Since the electronic systems have been put in, he is also very responsive to email questions and follow ups to medication adjustments. He's been great at answering questions re: supplements, encouraging me on continuing good lifestyle choices. He makes good use of the electronic communication options to minimize inconveniences associated with scheduling appointments, travel, and unnecessary medical costs. He has always facilitated access to the right medical care in a timely fashion, which is no small feat these days. I'm sad because my insurance is no longer contracted with The Portland Clinic and so I'm being forced to having a diferent PCP, otherwise I'd be sticking with Dr. Crouse despite moving 20 miles away.

Came to Portland as a retired faculty member from the UW-Madison and had a difficult time finding health care. Dr. Christ saved me and booked me into seeing Dr. Crouse who actually went out of his way to make sure that I would have health coverage. Now I have two outstanding medical professionals who listened to my concerns after working in the medical profession for 35 years and not being able to find anyone who would take me on as a client. I couldn't ask for any better doctors.
