Highly recommend Dr. Dean, professional care
I’ve always struggled with my lips since seventh grade. They’ve been dry, painful, and constantly needing something to soothe them. I know applying lip products can make the sun’s impact stronger on them, but I’ve never been one to sit in the sun to tan. I’m out and about, usually wearing a hat, doing the best I can. Sunscreen on my lips isn’t an option because it upsets my stomach, so I’ve had to manage without it. Unfortunately, the sun damage from years of outdoor activity has caught up with me.Recently, I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, an aggressive form of cancer. I received this diagnosis on my birthday, which, oddly enough, felt like a blessing—I had answers and could act immediately.I first saw my dermatologist, Dr. DuPont, on December 3, who confirmed the diagnosis and recommended I see an ENT specialist. That same morning, I contacted my ENT doctor, Dr. Robert Dean, and sent him my test results. Dr. Dean is extraordinary—caring, kind, and incredibly respons

I had a nice first visit to prepare for my sinus surgery. The scheduler contacted me promptly and scheduled December 10th. I travel extensively for work (every week)and scheduled the weeks off for the surgery. Today I get a call saying they need to reschedule with no reason. THEY set up the time. I feel like there is no care for my job needs and the extent I went through to get this done on my end. Let alone my health! Also, they want to reschedule into next year now which will cost me thousands in HSA since I have not hit my deductible as I have now. I am awaiting the scheduler to contact me to find out if it can be done this year but alas, no call back nor return of my calls. I cannot afford to take weeks off to fit the needs of this Dr. on such short notice. I have already scheduled a backup in Scottsdale as this Dr. cannot be trusted to uphold an appointment.

Dr. Dean is one of my most favorite doctors. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, he's extremely kind and caring, too. Dr. Dean listens carefully to me and then when needed, explains things clearly so that I understand. He has taken care of my family for many years. I needed a tonsillectomy at age 54 and I sailed through the surgery and recovery very easily. Dr. Dean truly takes care of the entire patient! His nurse Erika is amazing! They make a fantastic team. The office is sparkling clean and all support staff are professional and pleasant. To be honest, the wait time in the waiting room is a bit long, but that's because Dr. Dean takes such good care of each of his patients! I would wait all day to see him, because I know he's truly worth the wait!

Cares about total wellness, listens attentively and is respectful. Very compassionate and understanding. Extremely knowledgable and thorough. Will take the time to investigate the cause of a problem instead of just treating symptoms. Excellent doctor and wonderful person! Terrific bedside manner. I absolutely recommend, cannot say enough good about him!

I have to say I really really like Dr Dean. I bring my 2 boys to see him and I have to admit they are not the easiest patients. For some reason they are always scared and put up a fight. He is always very patient and hangs in there during the examination until he gains their trust. He has diagnosed my little one with severe ear infections to the point that he needed a wick put in to his ear as well as sinus infections. My boys love him and I cant imagine taking them anywhere else.

Have had a difficult case w/ sinus infection etc. Had surgery included in this case. Dr. Dean is Very Professional, kind and thorough. We never feel hurried when with him. Answers any and all questions. Takes input and discusses options. He truly cares about the case. Goes out of his way to assist with his network of other doctors and has no qualms about referring and bringing other doctors on board. Would recommend him in a heart beat. HIs medical assistant Erica is excellent as well.
