Never mind
He wouldn’t listen to me . Said my scans was fine then ask me if I had an appendix. My doctor read scans he said I had a few issues. He acted like my peeing blood all the time was from something else and my side pain. Waste of time and money. He believed all the scans but the one that said I had swollen kidneys the radiologist read em wrong . Going to a real urologist. I just said never mind . He don’t wanna be bothered.

Unprofessional conduct
Poor, unacceptable bedside manner and can be quite condescending and rude. My father is getting older and has lost quite a bit of hearing, yet apparently this doctor has not picked up on the hearing loss cues over the past 20 years. When my father asked Donoto to repeat what he said, Donoto told my father something like, 'I don't know why you don't understand, I've explained this all before.' As an RN in the ER, it's quite easy to recognize when a patient is having trouble hearing me/my dr.s, so we compensate without belittling or especially making the patient feel bad. Maybe a patient is just overwhelmed, maybe they have other issues they're dealing with, it can be anything and medical staff are supposed to be there to HELP. The second a provider doesn't take the time to make sure you/the person/patient has a clear, understandable grasp of their health status (no matter how many times it may have been explained), I hope everyone tells that provider they're going somewhere else.

Dismissive and Rushed
I had a kidney stone that was confirmed via ultrasound, and followed up with a CT scan to rule out an angiomyolipoma. The CT scan reported no stones. I was referred to this doctor to get some reassurance and further testing, since I was continuing to experience pain. This doctor completely dismissed the ultrasound, saying the tech likely didn't know what she was doing. While explaining why I thought I needed further testing, I insecurely said that maybe I was just being paranoid, to which he quickly replied, "You are. You are being paranoid." He eventually took me out to a hallway to show me my CT scan, where just anyone could see it. While reviewing it to convince me nothing was wrong, he found a kidney stone. Blamed the CT people for not reporting it, even though he obviously could have reviewed it himself. This doctor is extremely dismissive if not insulting, and acted like I was incapable of understanding my own body. Please find someone else if you want actual help.

He gave my husband a clean bill of health. Told us there was nothing to be concerned about. Dismissed the warning signs, symptoms and labwork. Turns out my husband does have cancer and we have wasted over a year believing he was healthy.

He was condescending. I always felt like he was ready to leave the room as soon as he walked in and often found myself asking questions as he was walking me out of the exam room. I didn’t feel heard, respected, or valued in my interactions with him.

Dr. Donato has absolutely no regard for his patients or their well being. He is arrogant and condescending when asked questions and acts as if he is too important to waste his time with you. Dr. Donato not only insulted my wife twice but also insulted me and demanded that we leave the office as we were a difficult case. I am a 73 year old man with multiple health issues and he seemed to derive great pleasure from attempting to humiliate both of us. Avoid this practice at all costs.

Excellent doctor. Saved my life. But office staff is incompetent. Twice have driven over 100 miles for an appointment, only to learn that they had dropped me from the system. Be sure and document names of all you speak with, date, and time. I've used this clinic for over 20 years and have had good experiences for year's. Donato and Saslawsky are great doctors.

Left waiting in waiting room for over an hour. No apology from staff. Donato needs to get a better handle on scheduling his appointments. Would NOT go back.
