Dr Donawa has been my primary care physician for 20 years. He listens, is a good at diagnosing an issue. Dr. D is definitely not a pill pusher, takes a more "whole person" approach. Example, a friend's Dr gives her a pill for everything and then another pill to treat symptoms. Dr Donawa talks about choices and options to improve health in ways other than popping pills. I trust him explicitly.

Okay
Dr. Donawa has been my PCP for a couple years. He takes the time to talk with me and explain medical details. Before he joined with Toledo Clinic I could get an appointment within a few days and I could contact him through his patient portal. Now that he has joined with Toledo Clinic I can’t get an appointment for a couple weeks. It’s difficult to contact him through the Healow app for Toledo Clinic portal Often it’s not working. When calling the office I have a long wait to talk with someone.

Dr Donawa took time to learn of my husbands complicated health history. He was kind and compassionate. He came up with a plan to further diagnose his health issues. We are hopeful and so blessed God directed us to him

After 9 years I’m still waiting for Dr Donawa’s call about my test results. Wait times are ridiculous and his attention to detail is lacking.

I have been with Dr. Donawa since he arrived at the Perrysburg Family practices. He is my Primary care provider and always will be if possible. I'm almost 79 years old and in very good health, thanks to the care that he and his Staff have given me. He has seen me through many difficulties and his advice recommended treatments has always made me better than I was before. I hold him in high esteem and would recommend his care to anyone who is looking for a Doctor that places the Patient's care above everything else. He is compassionate, thorough, and professional throughout you visit and extended care. Thank you Dr. Donawa for your sacrificial service to those who seek your help.

Donawa was my mother’s PCP. I contacted him in March of 2019 with serious concern for her mental health over the prior 5 months. In May, I provided 80+ pages of details of what was occurring. In June, I accompanied my mother to her appt. It took 4 more months to receive diagnosis from neurological psychologist. Part of the specialist report was the recommendation to see a neurologist and start medication. He/his office did not follow up on this adequately. My mother fell 2 weeks ago and died. I will be forever haunted by the inadequacy of care for my mother.

Dr. Donawa is not my regular physician in this group, however, due to a medical issue that couldn't wait to get into my physician, I booked with Dr. Donawa. He is very personable, thorough and professional. I would highly recommend him to other family and friends. The wait was a little long, but it was a Saturday and there were numerous patients in the waiting room.

Caring Physician with excellent diagnostic skills. He is always polite, respectful and attentive to what you say. His memory is accurate so you do not have to repeat yourself. I have friends and other family members who see him as well. Highly recommended with no reservations. Makes excellent recommendation to other highly competent Physicians when necessary. His practice partners are also the best, so if you have to see a partner in an emergency, you will get excellent care.

5-25-18. Dr.Robert Donawa Is my family doctor, but he associated with Dr. Richard Schwartz. He knows Lionel Featherstun, aressted in a Federal warrant fir drug charges. My Trust in both Doctors is low because they lie about my some of my medical condtions. Dr Schwartz keeps calling my medical provider and I want him to stop abusing me. I do not want to have this man in my life. I should contact the Perrysburg Police and file a report against Dr. Schwartz. Hippa Law should protect me. Thank you.

May 2018. Dr. Donawa has been my doctor for over six years. These are HIPAA LAWS, to consider, I deserve my personal privacy with my medical records. I decline to offer further information to Abundant Life of Perrysburg #2 , an apartment complex where I Live. Dr. Donawa MD. should not talk or give my medical information to Abundant Life staff team, this not a nursing home, with nurses and doctors. I am going to lock my medicine for fear of stealing and Loss of my medication. Police Report made.

3-12-2018 Dr. Robert Donawa, should leave Perrysburg Family Physicians practice and go back to medical school. He could continue his education in the field of medicine where his expert talent can help his new patients. Right now is a crossroad in his life and Dr. Donawa will have to decide do himself which road in his life he should take. Senior care is not direction he should take. He is more gifted in helping young patients with mental health problems. Thank you.

Have been a patient for over 10 years. Dr.Donawa always takes time with patients so he does run behind. I try to see first thing am or last thing pm. Very knowledgeable and stays current with new drug developments. Office is open on Saturday which is a big plus. Responses to emails on website at all hours and at times can address the problem based on symptoms. Practice leaves spots for same day visits. Other Drs in practice are available and very solid if Dr Donawa is not available.

I've been seeing Dr Donawa for 8 years and could not be happier. Dr Donowa takes his time with patients so you may wait longer to see him but he remembers you and your medical needs. He actually cares. If you want a 15 minute in and out prescription factory find another Doctor. if you want someone who cares about healthy patients not his healthy bank account Dr Donawa is the best.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Donawa?
His nurses Emily & Diana are very rude. The wait in the waiting room to see Dr. Donawa is usually 1 hour. He is nice but clueless. He looks up medications online because he does not know what to prescribe. He refers patients to specialists without knowing whether the specialists are good doctors. He often leaves the exam room and says he will return but never does. He is very expensive yet wastes precious appointment time with pointless stories.
