Dr. Donohue performed a laser procedure on my eye. It was done as an out-patient, recently. As always, Dr. Donohue was wonderful. I feel so fortunate to have an ophthalmologist as highly skilled as he is, right here in Hamilton. In addition, he's a heck of a nice guy.

My self, my husband, and my 2 children have been patients of Dr.Donohue's for nearly 10 years. I would highly recommend him for all of your eye care needs. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He spends time answering all your questions patiently . His appointment scheduling is very convenient and I had no problem getting an emergency appointment the same day. He runs very much on schedule no waiting! I love that! Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Thanks Dr. Donohue and Staff!!!!!!!

Extremely rude doctor and staff. I was screamed at because I couldn't get in touch with my mother (who was at work) and was told I mustn't pay out of pocket. Got in contact with my mom no more than 2 minutes later. The doctor was mad a thing me, when I complained about how his manager handled the situation. I have lupus and do not need the extra stress when I have insurance that covers me. He threw a pen in the office when i asked for a refund of the $10 copay. So unprofessional.

Please read! I took my son in for an examination in sept '16. Just over 6 months later I took him back because his eye was seeming lazy & he complained of bluryness in one eye. Dr. Donohue said 'oh I thought it would work itself out & get better'! HE NEVER TOLD US ANYTHING WAS WRONG THE FIRST TIME WE WERE THERE! He said his eyes were fine 1st time. He never said come back in a few weeks, months, year, nothing! Now my son has glasses is wearing an eye patch over his good eye for 4 hours a day.
