Above and Beyond
My mom had a stroke and multiple heart attacks. Dr. Elgar went above and beyond in his care and even stopped me in the hospital to provide support when he wasn’t on duty. His commitment to patients exceeds the norm.

I had a stroke and have a lot of questions about my condition and my future. Dr. Elgar was extremely rude to me and refused to answer any of my questions. At the end of the appointment, he walked out of the room without a word. I have changed doctors and I only hope that my next doctor cares about their patients.

He was a good Dr. but my dad was in and out of rehab and hospital and each time was treated. and sent back to rehab. It took my personal NP to suggest that my dad have a video swallow test to find out why dad was having pneumonia at least once a month. She suggested that I mention about a video swallow test to her is sounded like he was aspirating. This test was done and that was what was happening. My dad has not been home since November Why was this not suggested like 3 months ago.
