Dr. Robert Ford III, MD

My spouse has a combination of age-related conditions which require the focus and responsiveness of a competent and caring primary care physician. As caregiver, I have been attentive to these dimensions as a participant in care. From the beginning, he has provided this consistently and has been open to suggestions over these three years. A somewhat younger doctor, his medical knowledge is excellent and current. We have recommended him to a friend who, for the first time, is finding good results.

Dr. Ford was recommended by my old doctor when he retired. I was very wary about seeing a new doctor, but I am glad I went with him. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. I have come to trust him very much with my care.

I recently moved from the Nashville area and needed a new PCP. I (easily) made an appointment with Dr. Ford’s office and had my first appointment today. I found him to be very thorough and I’m glad to have found him (and his staff!).

Dr. Ford is the most unprofessional caretaker in the medical field. He cares nothing about how the patient feels. It is his way or no way. I do not recommend using him at all.

My husband and I saw Dr. Ford because our Primary Care Physician retired. We found him to be thorough and well knowledgeable. He is easy to talk with and answers questions with time given to the patient. We look for this to be a very good fit for us in the future.

He is at summit medical, wellington in knoxville tn. Overheard him talking to a patent. This is the most un professional person in this business. Told this lady that having blood pressure all over the place was normal. Heart fluttering was nothing to worry about. It was sicking to hear this from a doctor. I will now loo for another office to go to. If the people at summit will hire this guy well.... you must have trust now I do not.

Awful Doctor and human being who doesn’t care about his patients. Tells them fluctuating bp that goes really high is normal!

Absolutely the most thorough, most kind, most personable. Covered an emergency situation that resulted in a satisfactory outcome with patience and care. Excellent physician.
