wrist fracture
Dr Goitz spent very little time during each visit. When the fellow saw me they felt I needed surgery as I was only 52. He came in and said we would wait and see. I was put in a cast at 2 weeks, then changed to a different type of removable cast. He did not check them, the fellows put them on. Now post removal, I have collapsing in my wrist, have limited movement also in my fingers as well, even with PT. His notes and summaries are complete contradtions as to what he says during his appointments. Example: in person- use your wrist aggresively and no more splint, we will not have to come back in, schedule PT. Notes summary: Ease off of splint and slowly regain range of motion? Follow up appointment in 4 weeks. Do Not Recommend. PT commented, he is known for his RIGID settings of bones. Not helpful when you cannot get them to move afterwards. The pain of being in the cast and splint ways more painful due to tightness than the initial break.

Excellent office visit
Dr. Goitz has an engaging, positive presence when you meet him. He is quick, to the point and clear on the recovery exercises I needed to do. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Visited to get my elbow injury checked. Barely spent 5 mins with me, as the X rays were clear, and didn't even diagnose the issue. Just told some weight training exercises, with no defined regiment and said come back if pain lasts for a few more weeks. The recommended exercises worsened my issues and had to go to a different doctor who diagnosed me with ulnar nerve neuritis and tendonitis which both require proper PT, splinting and rest. This doctor's improper advice worsened my condition, please never go to this doctor.

I wish I had read the reviews here before trusting this doctor. Both times I saw him, the objective was to get me out of there as quickly as possible. My concerns weren’t listened to. The medical notes clearly contradicted what I reported about my pain. I left feeling hopeless and gas lit. But after talking to a former PT, I realized that just need to see a doctor that actually listens to his patients. Don’t waste your time, money, and emotional energy here.

Spent less than 5 minutes with MD during first visit. Told me to wiggle fingers and that was it. During second visit, I explained what ADL’s I was having trouble with and requested a short term leave from work. He told me that I can work and he wasn’t filling out my paperwork because he was too busy. Completely arrogant, dismissive and not interested in anything I had to say. Asked me what color cast I wanted and walked out. I absolutely would not recommend this physician.

We were referred by another doctor for my 12 year old daughters compressed nerve, that has been progressively getting worse since she broke her arm in December. Dr. Goitz was quick to dismiss us, saying there was nothing wrong with my daughter's arm, she should have never had physical therapy. My daughter and I got up to leave and he was shouting from the doorway how my daughter is just fine and the doctor who referred us is a quack, he's only a foot doctor and knows nothing. Shouting at us as his staff just watched. I will never recommend this doctor to anyone. I'm in the process of filing a complaint.

I visited Dr. Goitz for an overuse injury in my hand. Unfortunately, his bedside manner was terrible: he demeaned my concerns and questioned my own experience. Overall he came across as very condescending/dismissive about me and my injury, and I left feeling insulted and hurt. It was a waste of time and money driving out to see him (I didn't get a diagnosis or any helpful insights). I've never experienced this before with a medical professional– I would expect that a doctor would at the very least be a compassionate listener. I'm sure he's a skilled surgeon, but my experience with him was horrible.

I will tell you about my visit,...useless, it wasted my time, no records of previous visits for wrist hand problems. I suggest it would be wise to save time and money and go to local Urgent Care Center, better diagnosis, less annoying and less expensive.

Doctor Goitz operated on my carpel and cubital tunnel issues in one surgery. I had absolutely zero pain. 6 months later my hand movement has returned to near normal whereas before, I could not fasten buttons on my shirts.
