Dr. Robert Grumet, MD

Appointments were on time. His engagement with patients is excellent. His staff and PA are outstanding. He listened. He made a stellar decision to send me for nerve tests and to see a spinal surgeon to insure the issues I described in my left shoulder were NOT emanating from my spine or elsewhere. MRI revealed a cyst pressing on a nerve in the shoulder and attendant left arm weakness and aching pain. Nerve tests also confirmed. A physician who listens and uses his fellow specialists BEFORE making a final decision about surgery is deeply appreciated by me - his patient. Dr. Grumet earned my respect and I recommend him as a uniquely gifted Orthopaedic Surgeon. Five STARS.

He was supposed to submit my records to my insurance company to get an injection approved and they never did, when I was complaining to him about the service I am getting he was very rude and left. When I am paying for that visit it is his responsibility to listen to me and check on my knee but he did not. He was extremely rude. His PA would never return my calls also. I do not recommend anyone to see him.

I appreciate and respect Dr. Grumet's knowledge, expertise, and, more importantly, his open mind. He took my lifestyle into consideration and thoughtfully planned out a course of action to address my condition. Dr. Grumet had to do surgery on my right knee because I tore my ACL. My surgery went smoothly, and I'm on my way to recuperate and to get back to my lifestyle. Therefore, I want to extend my gratitude to Dr. Grumet and his staff at the Orthopedic Specialty Institute in Orange County. I received nothing but an outstanding care. Being in the medical field I was able to see his fabulous medical, professional , and personal skills. My knee condition was challenging and afte I had several orthopedic surgeons evaluated me, he was the one to take care of it. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Grumet .

Excellent from all aspects; he provided all the needs for our daughter's torn ACL, and we were beyond satisfied. Great staff, top facilities, good communication, very professional. We had all care done on site, including physical therapy. They knew the entire treatment plan before the first visit. They were patient-oriented and knowledgeable.

Nothing but postive. Thought we were headed for surgery, but he prescribed a knee brace rather than undergoing a meniscus surgery that could have challenging results. Brace works great! Appreciate conservative approach. Great communicator. Friendly doctor and staff.
