Dr. Robert Gutierrez, DO

My mother has been seeing Dr. Gutierrez for several years. At one point, she ended up with another doctor. We begged for Dr. G. to take her back. It was such a relief. He is a fabulous doctor - very knowledgeable and professional. I feel my mother is in really good hands with Dr. G as part of her healthcare team.

Dr. Gutierrez is phenomenal. He diagnosed my Aortic Valve replacement, and saved me from a probable aortic aneurism on a routine annual checkup, with just his stethescope. Previously undiagnosed, he saved my life. He as also saved 2 of my friends. He is never rushed, and he explains everything in laymans terms. I feel so fortunate to have him as my doctor.

My husband and I have been with Dr. Gutierrez, DO for years, having been recommended by several people at our Church and community! He and his staff care about you and try hard to satisfy patients with professionalism, information and scheduling. Doctor and Nurse Practitioner are knowledgeable, keep up with new medical developments, analyze your symptoms, physical limitations and your personal lifestyle circumstances. I see Dr. Gutierrez as personable, caring, sincerely concerned for patients' wellbeing and meeting medical needs, willing to as is needed to refer you to a specialist. The office takes numerous medical insurances including Medicare plans.

Dr Gutierrez is very caring and very thorough . I am a retired pharmacist, so I am very watchful of physicians' approach and treatment decisions regarding various illnesses. I have complete confidence in Dr Gutierrez.

Personally, I really think Dr. G is one of the best doctors around. He takes time to understand all that is going on instead of just treating each symptom instead like so many other doctors. That is something I appreciate and is good practice unlike most of the others out there.

I and my wife have been seeing Dr. Gutierrez for about a year and a half. When you are fortunate to get an appointment he spends as much time with you as you need. He never rushes you out and is very thorough in his exam. He is personable and kind and works hard to heal you and get you what you need. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a great doctor.

The only time I saw Dr. Gutierrez was while I was a patient at Englewood Community Hospital. He was the physician on duty at the time I was admitted. In my opinion he is one of the best doctors I have come across in a long time. He did more to help me in a couple of quick visits than other doctors have done in years of appointments. He diagnosed me with allergies and put me on medication that has worked wonders for me. I had been seeing an allergist for three years that had done nothing.

His wait times are bad. His staff is not friendly.

Dr. Gutierrez, is in our opinion is an excellent Dr. First you are a person not just a number, he actually listens to what you are saying and all the time taking notes. He seems to be genuinely concerned about his patients, and will sometimes even phone you later to see how you are, and if you have any questions about what was discussed during your appointment, giving you sometime to process what was discussed earlier.

He takes his time and you never feel rushed through the appointments. He is very efficient and professional. The best internal medicine doctor in Florida!!
