Fantastic doctor
Dr Hawes took his time to explain everything and put me at ease. After the procedure he did the same. Dr. Hawes is a thoughtful and caring doctor and I recommend him to anyone who needs a Gastroenterologist.

Dr Hawes kept me alive while we worked through liver transplant. If you have need of advanced endoscopic procedures then Dr. Hawes is the best option available. He wrote the book. Thank you Doc. See you soon.

My husband was referred to Dr. Hawes for a second colonoscopy. The procedure started later than when it had been scheduled for but Dr. Hawes came and explained the procedure to us and said we would hear from his office ASAP once the pathology report was in. We waited for weeks, no news. We finally called our primary gastroenterologist's office and they looked up the report and informed us they had found colon cancer. We were devastated and disappointed that we had not been informed as soon as Dr. Hawes office received the report. Thank God we went to Moffitt and he had surgery and all is well. We expected to hear from the doctor as soon as the results were in. I don't know when and where the communication got lost but they need to be on top of such important details...time is so important in these cases.

Procedure started hours late. Attempts to follow up with staff on getting reports resulted in being stuck in voice prompts or just being cut off. When finally got staff on the phone, got off repeatedly as well. Repeat calls during work hours were sent to an answering service who said they could not take a message.....

I was a patient of Dr. Hawes this week and I can't say enough wonderful about him and his entire team at Advent Health. He is down to earth, answered all my questions, explained the process, was personable and very professional. My surgery was a tremendous success and I feel blessed to have been referred to Dr. K Haws.

I traveled from Tennessee to have Dr Hawes do a colonoscopy as I had a polyp that was in a difficult spot, was large and shaped badly. I did this to prevent having part of my colon removed. He talked to my wife before and after the procedure. He was very personable and explained the procedure and answered all of our questions. I was very pleased with the results and would recommend Dr. Hawes to anyone.

My husband died in Dr Hawes care. My husband was complaining of shortness of breath. He was struggling to breath following a procedure with Dr Hawes. Dr Hawes left him to do another procedure. My husband cardiac arrested from lack of oxygen. I didn't see Dr again until we had taken my husband off life support. Even my requests to see him went ignored. His staff said they monitored from a distance. Alarms ringing and no one came.
