Dr. Heffernan was my daughter's pediatrician at Legacy Emmanuel Hospital in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. Thereafter he was her Pediatrician. I will never forget his kindness, caring and wonderful sense of humor. "Dr. Bob" was so good with my daughter and very understanding of my concern for her was she was born a Preemie. The hospital was ready to release her and I was worried that she needed more time to grow before she came home. It was Dr. Heffernan's call and he totally respected my concern as a parent and recommended she get 2 more weeks in the ICU before her release. That meant so much to me as a parent! My daughter is 23 now. Thank you "Dr. Bob!"
