Clueless
For years I brought up concerns of adhd and speech issues. He made me feel like I worried too much. Nope. Turns out I was right. Later got diagnosis once our new pediatrician referred us to a specialist. Missed out of years of therapy, early intervention, etc due to his cluelessness.

Very smart but comes across as condescending
If I could rate his intelligence, he'd get 5 stars. Sadly, I think his intelligence and "book smarts" cloud his ability to share information with parents without coming across as condescending. Something as simple as a common cold turns into what feels like a lecture about the biology of what is happening and why antibiotics are necessary. Maybe a new mom would value this, but once you've had multiple kids you know when to bring your child to the doctor. I've had a week of sleepless nights with a sick child that is up coughing all night, please spare the biology lesson and just tell me how many days I need to administer antibiotics!! Saw him a few other times, and he often invalidated my concerns that subsequent providers verified as being legitimate, saying they were surprised he did not listen to me. I think he is very much "old school" and is likely great with older kids. Babies and toddlers? Not so much. We switched practices after being disappointed with him and another pedi there
