Worst doctor I’ve ever been to
I went to the urgent care with extreme back pain and Dr. Hsiao treated me terribly. I was in so much pain I could barely walk and could not sit. He berated me for not sitting and asked me how I expected him to examine me (I have seen two other doctors for this issue now and they have examined me while standing). He also was not going to prescribe me ANYTHING until I asked about it, after which I spent 10 minutes arguing with him about why I also needed to get an xray. He stated that I couldn’t get an xray without taking a urine pregnancy test… that wasn’t going to happen considering I COULD NOT SIT. I requested a blood test, and he refused several times and even told me it would not be covered by my insurance (it was). I said fine, I’ll pay out of pocket. He then talked about how uncooperative and what a terrible patient I was with the nurses outside of the room. I could clearly hear everything he said about me and I’m guessing so could every other patient there.
