The Worst!
I went to Kayal Orthopedics in Midland Park. They are very disorganized. They took months to send me statements, then tried to overcharge me.

Bow tie blunders
Dr. Kayal performed a partial knee replacement on my right knee in October 2019 and the never saw him again. I had problems right from the beginning and I was only able to see the arrogant PA who tries to make yo believe he knows everything that the Dr does. He always told me that my swelling was normal. 2 years later I went for second opinion and it was diagnosed that my implant had shifted which was evident from the images I was provided by Kayak’s office. I hold Dr Kayal responsible since he did my surgery couldn’t see him again and had over confidence in his arrogant PA.. I have since had a conversion to a total knee by a different surgeon. Avoid Kayal.

Not so happy
I had problems with the billing. They took one of my Doctor visits and applied it to the rehab. They charged me for atleast 2 follow up visits, even though I had the surgery within 90 days. Then after I thought I paid everything in full the got me for another $ 30. Copay.I had problems with running out of meds after the surgery. It took several days to get refills. The pain was tremendous!!!! They always had an excuse and I let them know a couple of days before I ran out!! After the surgery I only saw the Dr 1 time, all other visits were with the assistant who I blame for not getting my meds refilled quick enough. It has been over 4 months since the shoulder surgery and I don't notice much difference between before and now. But the pain after the surgery was Terrible!I hope it will still get better over time.Although the physical therapy was a good treatment. I recommend you go somewhere else or have some help you with them so they office doesn't make mistakes and take advantage

Best there is!!
I play 10-12 hours/wk of tennis. When my left knee was damaged from years of hard court tennis I checked a bunch of ortho doctors. Dr Kayal was only one who showed me the damage, explained in detail the device that would be the replacement and walked me through the procedure, the follow up and PT. Four months later I was playing tennis. One year later my right knee needed replacement. Dr Kayal performed that surgery. Again, four months later I was playing tennis. Today, 2023, seven years after my first knee replacement, I’m playing 20 hours of tennis a week. Dr Kayal is the best - I’m speaking from experience!

AVOID KAYAL AT ALL COSTS!!!
The ENTIRE Kayal group should be avoided at all costs. I have had over a dozen appointments in the last 2 months for shoulder and arm pain. Every single instance of doctor visits, test and PT have had some kind of error in scheduling, confusion (on Kayals behalf, not mine) or just incompetence that has made me utterly furious. Im sure there are nice people that work there, but as a patient with pain, I feel like a very small “number” being shuttled through their fancy factory without any care or accountability on their part. So many scheduling errors and so much time being ignored and NOTHING from the staff or management about an apology. While an individual doctor may ‘care’ about your health problem, make no mistake - THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. They seem to be struggling with trying to grow the volume of their business, while making the individual feel ignored and insignificant. Specifically, I was placed with incompetent PT staff - I (wtih no medical training) kne

Best Ortho Practice in NE NJ
It took 9 years to find Dr. Kayal in 2017. I fell in 2008 and my Dr. Refused to give me an injection so that the sacro could be adjusted. Milking my insurance, IMO. Five doctors and 9 years later, I was seen by Dr. Kayal. The ONLY one who knew what to do for me since I had chronic pain . The ligament is stretched. Therefore, I get a trigger point injection a couple of times a year and do my core strengthening exercises at home. Husband has RA and Osteoarthritis. He sees various doctors at Kayal, all of them are so intelligent, caring and "on top of their games". Such a Blessing!

DR. KAYAL IS THE BEST!
With two boys participating in year round athletics, we've certainly had our fair share of injuries. Whether minor or surgical, Dr. Kayal and his team have always provided exceptional service and results. There's no other Ortho Center that I'd trust with my families care. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kayal Ortho to anyone. 10 stars out of 10

Dr. Kayal did my second knee replacement in November (he did the first one 8 years ago) and three months later I can do everything I want to do and without pain. My recovery was amazing, very little swelling, no bruising and the pain was manageable. Everyone on Dr. Kayal's team treated me with care, professionalism and most importantly kindness, whether it was in the office or the hospital. I always felt like I was the most important person he/they were seeing that day. Thank you to the Kayal Team for another successful knee replacement.

Very nice office and the doctor is awesome. He was Very gentle and explains everything. The doctor took his time and answered all questions I had. I felt complete confidence in the doctor and was very comfortable. I'm not a person who likes going to the doctor as it is and they made me feel at ease. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs an orthopedic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel as if you've always been going there and that's just after my first visit. The best part was I only waited 5 minutes to be seen!
