Great doctor
Dr. Kelleher has been my primary physician for 10 years or more. I’ve been very happy having him handle my care. He’s thoughtful, listens well, makes enough time for me, and explain things clearly. Also the practice is well run, and when I’ve needed to be seen on short notice has always accommodated me. Highly recommended.

Had first PCP visit; never going back
I had my first regular physical with Dr. Kelleher yesterday. It was my first time meeting him. I had selected him as my PCP based in part on his good reviews. I will not be going back. Most of my appointment was spent listening to his unsolicited views about COVID public health policies in the United States. I couldn't get a word in edgewise about my health concerns. He demonstrated either an unwillingness or incapacity to listen to his patient's history and concerns, which was especially jarring because this was our first meeting. I've never felt utterly ignored by an attending physician before and it's not a good feeling at all.

He's been my PCP for 3+ years and I've hit a tipping point of aggravation frustration, with poor diagnoses and weak recommendations. I have been having severe hip pain and he said your fine you are only 51 you are too young for hip replacement so nothing to worry about. I literally had to pull teeth to get an X-ray and when I did he found severe osteoarthritis. 2 years ago I had severe hearing loss in my right ear due to fluid. He told me to take a couple of hot showers and hold my nostrils and blow my nose?? Again I had to pull teeth to get a referral to an ear specialist who drained the fluid, and put a tube in my ear and my hearing was restored. I definitely wouldn't recommend him

I have been a patient with Dr Kelleher for almost a decade. He is very knowledgeable across a wide range of areas and overall I feel my care has been top notch including annual physicals and proper diagnostic and general health testing. Though we don't always agree on every thing (the usefulness of statins drugs for instance), he is data driven, willing to discuss the science and cites studies to support his positions. He is also well connected with other areas doctors/specialists and resources including Mt Auburn Hospital.
