I had a Gallbladder attack forcing Dr Kelly to remove the offending organ. He used the Divinci Robotics machine Excellent Job!

My daughter had Bariatric surgery at Memorial. I will leave the surgeons name out of my review because he has no control over what the nursing staff does on the unit. My daughter experienced severe pain that the nursing staff did not effectively manage. My daughter had to wait almost 2 hours for medication for pain and nausea. That is totally unacceptable. I called the nurses station for over 45 minutes straight and no one answered. Finally a charge nurse answered and told me they were in the middle of shift change and that I should call back. Again, totally unacceptable. I should never have let my daughter be unattended by a family member post op. I would think twice before having surgery at Memorial. I know all hospitals are short staffed, but pain control is always a priority. It clearly was not for my daughter this visit.

Dr. Kelly was amazing. He was very caring and ensured me that he would take every care for me during the procedure. Most importantly, he was extremely respectful to my family. As soon as my surgery was complete, he immediately updated them. This is very important to me. As far as my procedure. It was done perfectly. I have absolutely no pain. I took 1 pain pill the entire time as they just weren't needed. Scars healed beautifully. I've had no complications or dumping. I have no regrets.

I had emergency surgery and he was wonderful!! I have never meet such a caring and through Doctor. I had never seen him before this surgery, and you would have thought he had known me for years. Can't say enough good things about him.

He has good bed side manners. That is important to me when choosing a Dr. He did my baractric surgery Sept 2020. He is good at what he does.

Dr. Kelly is a very caring surgeon. I felt very confident that he considered many aspects of my health before doing the surgery. He is very factual and positive at the same time. After the surgery, he called my family member to let her know how the surgery went. Would highly recommend Dr. Kelly

I had an emergency surgery on my gall bladder. My surgery was complicated because I have aVP shunt that was laying my gall bladder which was completely filled with stones. A one hour surgery turned to 5 because Dr. Kelly consulted with my Nero team during surgery to ensure my safety. His professionalism and attention to every detail is why I am her today. He told me and my family that he would take care of me as if I were part of his family. And he did!!!

The first visit was so informative. Dr. Kelly took his time with me and ask if I had any questions. I was not pressured whatsoever. From the staff to checking me to checking me out was so friendly and I felt they truly cared for my well-being.

Dr Kelly was clear, concise and very respectful.

He has an amazing "bedside" manner. Very respectful and patient, answering questions and concerns and putting you at ease right away. If you need a caring professional who has your medical care at heart and not rushing to beat the clock and see as many patients in the shortest amount of time, he is the doctor you are looking for to address your medical concerns.

I did see Dr. Kelly at 08/20/2019.and gave me diagnosis " right groin hernia". Then your office sent me to cardiologist to estimate my heart condition. I had EKG at 08/26/2019 and he told me EKG is normal and heart function is OK. I want to know what is my next step Please let me know. Thank you very much

Staff very friendly Doctor was terrific and very patient and informative. Staff very efficient and quick to return call regarding questions and always pleasant. I wish all Doctors offices and staff was this efficient and friendly!

Dr. Kelly was wonderful! He took plenty of time with me to explain my condition, as well as all my options, and answered all my questions. Dr. Kelly made me feel like more than just another patient. I’d recommend him to anyone needing a Bariatric physician.

I was expecting to see a PA when I went in for my 15 minute consult. To my surprise I was seen by Dr. Kelly. He spent 1 hour with me. He explained my condition so that I could understand it. I was very impressed with his professionalism, care and character. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends. The medical profession needs more like Dr. Kelly. He is a model of what the practice of medicine should be.

Dr. Kelly was assigned to me for emergency surgery. I was bless that he took on my case. He literally saved my life two (2) times during surgery when my heart stopped. While I was in the hospital, I looked forward to his visits because he took time to talk to me and really care for me. After I was released and went into his office to see him, again he went into great detail to explain my condition. He was very personable and easy to talk to and he listened to what I had to say. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Robert Kelly Jr to anyone needing surgery. Honestly, I will look to him for any other surgery I will need in the future.

I cannot say enough nice things about Dr Robert Kelly. He is a highly skilled surgeon, who is compassionate, caring and incredibly dedicated. He saw me EVERYDAY in the hospital to make sure I was doing great after my surgery. Dr Kelly and his staff returned ALL my calls and answered every question thoroughly. Surgeons sometimes have a bad reputation for being abrupt and uncaring, but Dr Robert Kelly dispels that image. His bedside manner separates him from all the physicians.
