I have seen this Doctor one time. But I was really impressed with him and his staff. He spent 2 hours with me, he answered all my questions and I believe helped me when I needed answers. He made me feel like his ONLY patient. I will go back to him.

Save yourself some frustration
The doctor was nice and seemed knowledgeable, however, my overall experience with his office has been very frustrating. He wanted me to have some testing done, so I did. His office has yet to call to give me the results, even though the hospital faxed them almost 2 weeks ago. Their answering machine says someone will call you back in 24-48 hours, but don't hold your breath. If you do by some miracle get someone to return your call, they will then proceed to talk very condescending to you and act like you are the one causing the problem. After waiting so long, I finally got the test results myself and just took them to a different doctor and had him explain them to me. Save yourself some time and frustration and just go to a different doctor.

MUCH MORE THAN A PULMONOLOGIST!!!
Dr. Klinestiver has been my pulmonologist for 15 or so years now. I'd go nowhere else. Here is why. He cares for the entire person. When I check in bi-annually, I can generally expect to wait in the exam room for a fair sit, however, once he enters that room, I am the only patient in the world. No rush! Just a drill down into the whole person. Yes he listens to my lungs, but we talk about exercise, eating, weight, social interactions, relationships, spiritual journey, and so on. Life balance is the larger conversation. He offers total care for the whole me. He is completely caring, and fully interested in my health and life. I have never had such an experience with even a PCP. I love going to see Dr. Klinestiver! Aside from his professionalism, and stellar bedside manner, we have similar senses of humor, and I know that the question has been asked from the other side of the door - What is going on in there? In closing, he is a stellar, caring, genuine human being!
