Dr. Koivunen was very knowledgeable, helpful.
Dr. Koivunen gave me excellent tips to help my wife with her foot problems. Gave me examples of my responsibilities to bathe her feet, massage them, dry between her toes, & apply foot cream on her feet. I showed him the foot cream I brought for him to see and he examined it and said he liked it, thought it was fine and would work nicely. Explained things thoroughly. Took time to answer questions. I asked if he could trim my wife’s toenails and he did just that. Made suggestions on the use of an egg crate device to be used for my wife’s heels. I asked what’s next, when could we come back and how to get an appointment and he told me exactly what to do. And I did just that before we left the Health Center.Dr. Koivunen’s nurse assistant, Jessica, was terrific. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helped me get my wife out of her wheelchair and onto the exam chair.

Wasted my time
Had an appointment with this provider. After close to a hour, no sign of him. Therefore, I left and will find new podiatrist.His treatment did not work on my toenails. Saw him a couple of other times. Under his treatment for a couple of years, the problem has gotten worse.

I am not a Henry Ford client so there is no history of care. My problem was followup on wound care that was provided by HF urgent care. Care was appropriate. This is a busy unit and I would have liked to have had a quicker appointment but it was not available.

Dr. Koivunen is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! HE TRULY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. HE IS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. I WILL STAY HIS PATIENT AS LONG AS HE IS AT HENRY FORD.THANK YOU DR. KOIVUNEN FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT YEAR!!
