He is knowledgable
Dr. Lehman is a very skilled physician and will complete an extensive exam. However, he comes across slightly rude and does not like to answer questions. He is very in and out of the room. I do not care to see him unless my kids are sick and have to be seen. other than that, he gets the job done.

In my three visits there I also found Dr. Lehman to be condescending and not very nice. Also, The wait in the office was always more then 30 minutes . Glad we found another pediatrician that's much more friendly.

Dr. Lehman is the best around. It's incredible how the kids respond to him. This doctor will never rush you out of the room and listens when you talk. Really listens. He is dependable and always there if my children have a problem. He can often solve what seem to be huge problems in a kind and gentle way. He is open and knowledgeable about breastfeeding. One special thing he has taken the time to do is get on my kids level and speak to them about problems. They really pay attention to him!

Our first experience with a Pediatrician here in VA was with Dr. Lehman. While he is very thorough in his explanations, he is also very condescending and made us feel like awful parents. First explained how we shouldn't of had a child before getting married because of how that will affect our child then made sure to tell me that my child was going to be an obese child if I don't stop feeding her as much. She's always been in the 98th percentile since birth. Now she's a tall and thin, 3 yr old

Dr. Lehman must be rating himself to get 4 stars bc there is no way that's accurate. He is so condescending and arrogant. Even my husband said the same thing on the one occasion he met him- so it wasn't just me. He's also the same way with his nursing staff. I was so uncomfortable when he started reprimanding his nurse in front of me. It was cruel and unprofessional. She was a new nurse having difficulty drawing blood out of my newborn's foot. He practically fired her right in front of me.
