Dr. Robert Lejawa, DO

Today was my last straw. I will be finding a new primary doctor. I scheduled an appointment (virtual) to follow up on an issue that dr. lejawa has still after years not been able to help me with. Just endless tests, and multiple referrals. Nice guy, but quite frankly going to these appointments eats up so much time as he does not listen much at all but talks for a long time about all of his knowledge. Today, I logged on to my virtual appointment, and he is not on. I called the office, holding for so long that I called again & tried a different extension. Waited about 7 more minutes for someone to answer, and front desk advises that he's finishing up with another patient. It is 1:40 at this time and my appointment was at 1:15. There is no way to message anyone on MyChart to even see where the doctor is or what’s going on. Respect my time, like I respect yours. I cancelled a work meeting to make this appt.

I'm glad to see there's truthful reviews. Terrible communication. Always through a 3rd party. First time I went to him, I came home with 8 referrals. He hears what he wants to hear. If you're not in front of him, he doesn't have time for you. Ask a direct question? Don't expect a direct answer. He takes up most of your appointment trying to show his book smarts. He never really gives you a diagnosis, observes, or touches you. Just referrals. Almost 2 years as a patient and still no diagnosis. And lateral violence? It abounds at Berewick. You know who you are, G.

Went in for a physical, got some unwarranted information about nutrition that I already knew or could have googled. In addition to the 400 something charge for the physical, he charged me another 200 something for the additional info. Never once did he communicate that I would be charged an extra 200 dollars for his additional information but apparently I signed something ahead of the visit. It’s a slimy way of double billing for a simple annual physical visit. If I were a provider, I would verbally communicate the extra cost of discussing ANYTHING additional to my Patients Before discussing but this guy doesn’t care. $200 is a lot of money to some people and like I said, I could have googled what he shared. It was slimy. I’ve been to many physicals and seen many primary care doctors and this type of thing has never happened to me . I will not be returning.

“Dr” Lejawa does Not listen to patients concerns and about what they feel they can and cannot do! Causes extreme undue stress! And causes undue stress on your employer! Pretends to listen to your concerns but his actions say otherwise! Did not send required paperwork, twice! Did not advise me of high temperature, twice! Overall I do not recommend. I’m so serious, please go elsewhere.

Dr Lejawa made me feel at ease and answered all my questions.

Great doctor! Dr. Lejawa is awesome.. he is very thorough and explains everything in detail. Super easy to talk to and down to earth.

Dr. Lejawa has been the best Doctor I have encountered so far. I saw another Dr. the day before, and was not satisfied with the service (Dr. rushed, and barely talked to me). Dr. Lejawa called me, talked to me for 10 minutes on the phone and told me to come back in. What I love about him is that he explains the WHY I was having my symptoms and didn't rush to just prescribe me medication, he modeled breathing exercises/stretching and really tried to provide me with the best service.

Even if you are dying drive out of your way don't see Doctor Lajawa!
