Dr. Robert Leonardi, MD

His initial office visit was approx 25min but billed 45. After a test, I asked for a phone call to review. He left a 41 sec VM quoting the Journal of Cardiac Medicine about a serious condition. I requested a call back and he never replied back. This was totally unprofessional.

His appointment time is rushed. He is typing through the whole visit so it seems he is not listening. I don't feel he explains things adequately. He has been rude to me at times and has kept me waiting for over an hour on most visits. Other people who have been his patient say the same thing about waiting for so long in his office before he arrives. I just get the feeling he doesn't care very much. I have life threatening heart issues and I don't think he takes it seriously. I have seen 2 other cardiologists with my conditions and they have told me how complicated my situation is. I don't feel confident or safe in his care. It could just be chemistry. He and I have never achieved a rapport, which is important when someone is guiding your healthcare.

If you are looking for a kind, compassionate, thorough, doctor who instills complete confidence in you at having chosen him, then Dr. Leonardi is just what you have been searching for. As his patient for a number of years, I can say that he never makes you feel rushed and takes as much time as is needed to assure that you understand his diagnosis and all aspects of his plan of care for you. His staff are also excellent to the person.
