Horrible bedside manner and follow up
He's in and out as fast as he can be, getting refills for medications HE prescribes to be on 4x a day require a miracle to get called in. At the hospital, he's only polite in front of another doctor or nurse. He doesn't understand my rare chronic illness and is very dismissive of any medications any other doctor prescribes, only thinks his were what I should take, including meds for psychiatry. Looking for another gastro doctor.

Awesome doctor! Very kind and just a brilliant doctor! Saved my mother’s life and will never use another gastroenterologist other than Dr. Lerner.

Dr Lener is amazing gift from God. He's very thoughtful, knowledgeable has experience galore since 1983. He listen to his patients. I've had two Colonoscopies and one Endoscopy. No problem came good as no new. No pain. I would recommend him to everyone. I'm a #1 Fan and patient. Thank you Dr Lerner. May God continue to bless your gifted hands.

Great doctor
I believe that he knew what I had before my colonoscopy. He treated me quick ineffective and I would recommend them to anyone having any kind of problems to see a doctor of his kind

On a referral to Dr. Lerner from my PCP, I was brought into the exam room almost immediately, and then sat for 50 minutes, with no contact, until I stepped outside and asked the nurse how much longer I would be expected to wait. She said I was next on his list. Once he showed up, he was helpful, fully explained the procedure I was going to have, and apologized profusely for the delay. I just wish doctors realized that my time is just as valuable to me and my employer as theirs.

He’s been my physician for a very long time and , yes, he is very businesslike, but I actually prefer a no nonsense physician. He’s taken good care of me over the years....

I sat in the waiting room for an hour. I waited patiently for my 1:50pm appointment and was still sitting in the waiting room at 2:50 to get called back. The secretary was very rude to everyone who walked up. A man went to ask how long the wait was and she snapped at him. I waited another 30 Minutes and asked to cancel my appointment and she gave me an additude about it. Not somewhere I will be returning.

It has been over two years since I’ve been to him, but I feel people should know how awful this doctor is. He literally told me that it was not possible for me to have the symptoms I was experiencing and made it seem as if I was making them up or it was all in my head. 2 plus years later a much better dr figured out the problem and I’ve been doing great. Don’t go to Lerner. Even if he helps he has terrible bedside manner and will talk over you and will make you think you’re crazy.

Dr. Lerner is very much a text book doctor. He does not think outside the box to diagnose illness and is guided very narrowly by his set patterns. If you have an unusual history or problem you should consider a different doctor.

Don't go to this Doctor. He doesn't really care wants money that's it. he wants to spend the least time with the patient. The office didn't even called to tell the results of my Ultrasound. He is just horrible he doesn't give you time to explain or even talk! Neither he asks you about the problem or if you have question you feel he is mad at you for no reason! again he doesn't care I don't know why is he a doctor!!!!

My daughter saw Dr Lerner today and we were very pleased with the care she received from him at this office visit. ( her first) He listened to our concerns and explained different things that might be causing her problems. He also answered all of the questions that we had for him. I don't understand the poor ratings on here because we were impressed with his friendliness and care. And he is wasting no time in getting her in for more in depth tests tomorrow.

Horrible bedside manor. Fastest consultation ever. Didn't take time to work through an issue I am having or answer questions. Tried to change Doctors within the group and the other Physicians do not accept transfers within the group. How strange is that?

He would probably make a good veterinarian. He talks over his patients. I was scheduled an appt with him by my pcp. Now im stuck with him unless i leave the group. He did a rectal exam..his phone rung, he answered with the gloves on and used his poopy gloved finger to open the door and walk out to continue the conversation. He mumbles and is hard to understand.

Dr.Lerner is probably the tackiest doctor I've ever encountered. He didn't explain anything that was going on with my dad at all and tried to leave the room as quickly as he could. He pretty much just guessed on my dad's condition and that was his final answer. We had two other physicians come in and they actually performed tests on my dad and got straight to the problem and were very thorough. Patients are just a number to Dr.Lerner and I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy!!!

Dr. Lerner talks faster than you can understand him. Dr. Lerner has no personality. Dr. Lerner gives his patients no time to talk. Dr. Lerner does not ask his patients if they have any questions. Dr. Lerner does not explain to his patients what is going on. I stayed in the hospital for a week & saw Dr. Lerner twice, each for less than 5 minutes. Dr. Lerner would not explain to my why I was staying so long in the hospital. Dr. Lerner completely lied to me on two different occasions.

This man does NOT listen to his patients. He speaks a mile a minute, then runs out of the room. If he is not able to diagnose on the first visit, he never bothers to follow up. This man shouldn't be allowed near awake patients.
