Dr Robert Marvin doctor cares! Especially intelligent Great integrity. Great manner. Great staff. I was never treated like a number. He went way past the call of duty to help me. Best of the best. I have a complicated situation. Most other doctors would have stayed out because of it. He was not daunted.

Living my best life
Dr. Marvin may not remember me, as it's been awhile since my life changing gastric bypass surgery. On May 18th 2006, Dr. Marvin changed my life forever. I was 408lbs, on two blood pressure medications, two cholesterol medications, was type 2 diabetic, and had sleep apnea. Still today, I am probably in the best shape I have ever been in my life. I have no medical issues still today, and feel like superman. Wasn't going to say it, but here it is, my weight I still maintain today, after almost 16 years stays between 190 -210 lbs. I still maintain the loss of 218lbs. I'm so grateful! At 52, I'm living my best life ever, Many Thanks, J. Jackson

Yes I would recommend Dr. Marvin to my family and friends. I came into his office in 2015. My weight was 260 and I was 5/5. I tried everything from quick weight loss, weight watcher. Those programs didn't work for me. Good programs. I lost and gain back. My weight today is 138. I have the lap band and I love it no problems. I have learned to eat slow and not eat things I should not be eating. I exercise daily and take my vitamin. What I learned weight loss surgery is not a quick fix, not a miracle. A life change. Yes I deal with the fat me daily because she wants to go back to what she knows best food how it taste and all the wrong foods like pizza, burgers, ice cream, pies. I love the new me. I run 8 Miles a day and lift weights thing I never was able to do because of my weight. lots of hard work and dedication. Again I say thank you Dr Marvin you are amazing.

I had the scope. I was lethargic and beyond swollen when pushed out of the surgical facility. Dr Marvin never checked on me. Called his office and was told my symptoms were common. I waited until after hours so I could get his AS and speak to him. Went to ER and had an emergency chest tube put in. Bilateral pneumothorax. Transferred to cardio pulmonary hospital. He punctured my thoracic cavity. I lost weight due to PTSD after almost dying. Gained it right back as it didn’t work. Think twice.

Answered all of my questions and concerns. I was able to do my initial consultation over the phone because I lived out of state. Had my face to face consult on Thursday, procedure on Friday, and follow up on Monday. He was very competitively priced because the procedure I had was not covered by insurance. (Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty). I lost 9 pounds so far and I am on post op day 6!

I had my gastric sleeve two years ago and lost 102 lbs in year and have been able to keep it off. Dr. Marvin was very compassionate pre-surgery and wanted to ensure I understood every detail of what I was going to go through. I felt comfortable in asking questons and never felt "dumb" for asking so many. He has been encouraging about my results and wants to ensure I stay on the road to good heath. His team ensures I have the tools needed to maintain my goals acheived.

I had gastric sleeve surgery in December of 2016. Dr. Marvin did a great job. He has a caring team that works with you and your insurance to begin the process. Post surgery, his office has been a great resource for my changing body. Dr. Marvin has a good bedside manner and wants to make sure you are healing properly and adjusting in a healthy way.
