Dr McCoy had been my doctor for almost 2yrs for mild asthma. During a ct scan my urologist ordered a 6mm nodule was discovered in my lungs. Apparently it had shown up a couple years before at 4mm. The radiologist suggested contacting my pulmonary specialist. Dr McCoy did not believe it was 6mm so he said he would have his staff order another ct scan and they would make a follow up appt. The scan was not ordered until I contacted the office 2wks later. The follow up appt did not happen until I called the office 3 mo. later. At the follow up appt DrMcCoy said he would have the radiologist review all the past ct scans and to make a follow up appt for 2 mo. I was told to call his office in 1 mo to make certain that was done. When I talked to the office they said they had no order from the doc. When I finally had the appt with DrMcCoy he thought it was for my asthma. He said he had nothing in his records about reviewing all the past scans to see if the nodule had indeed grown.

After waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes I left after never having seen the doctor. The test for my breathing problem was not done due to a machine breaking and the doctor only came in to my room to say oops, sorry, wrong room.
