Dr. Robert Moidel, MD

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION - IF YOU HAVE EDS OR SOME OTHER UNUSUAL AUTOSOMAL DISORDER OR CONDITION, AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS!!!! Was seen for Dr. Moidel's analysis and reccomendations of actions to relieve some of the effects of Ehler's-Danlos Syndrome. Moidel was anything but helpful. During consult he repeatedly denied that there was ANY possibility that I was an EDS sufferer, at times was even derisive, ridiculing my list of 30+ 'markers', many readily visible. He literally scoffed at some of the indicators that I pointed out - loose stretchy skin, overly flexible joints, fragile tissues which have torn open after major surgery. What finally wrote it was when he laughed at my assertion that I sometimes suffered a partially prolapsed rectum. During the consult he never even asked me to roll up a sleeve, yet his mocking "You don't have prolapsed rectum!" His arrogance and lack of concern were alarming, his lack of basic medical acumen frightening. IMHO -Stay away - you've been warned!

He is one of the few doctors I trust . He listens and allows as many questions as I need. Very detail oriented and thoughtful.

Dr Moidel is very knowelegable about Rhematoid diseases. He answers questions. I have been his patient since he joined this practice about 30 years.
