Doesn’t care
Dr. Nunoo did not take me or my case seriously. His protocol left my doctors afterward questioning his decisions and timeline. Most of all, he refused to see my after my surgery when I had many concerns and a lot of pain. He showed no empathy for my situation and rushed the entire process.

laparoscopic robotic surgical removal colon cancer
Dr NUNOO IS THE REAL DEAL! He is old school, cares about his patients, listens and answers all questions. He has an awesome personality and excellent bedside manner. I practiced medicine for 25 years and had began to believe this type of doctor no longer existed. Well they are still some old school Doctors and he is one. He performed laparoscopic robotic removal of 2/3 of my cancerous colon. Because of the type of surgery he performed, I was able to be discharged the following evening. Now you must realize this may not be the same for everyone. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a colon cancer surgeon. I would not hesitate to recommend my family to him.

Dr Nunoo recently completed colon surgery on my 92 year young mother. It was all very sudden and my mother was beside herself with anxiety. Dr Nunoo was absolutely wonderful and the best thing that could have happened for my mom as well as myself. Calming and kind with exceptional office employees making every interaction smooth and efficient. The whole entire experience was five star plus and we appreciate it so much!!

Dr. Nunoo treated me for diverticulitis in January then performed surgery for my condition in November. During this entire process, I can honestly say that I have felt more comfortable and trusting with Dr. Nunoo than I have with any other doctor I have had to see in the past. He is the best.

I had the worst experience in my life with this Doctor & his team! I just got discharged from WakeMed Cary & they let me go way to soon again in fact that morning I had just started eating a bland diet that! My oxygen level was so low & my pain was unbelievable! Since day 2 in that hospital I was asking for the Gasterolgy Group that I had ever time I’ve been there( I have Crohns Disease since I was 17 now I’m in my 40’s & I know I need surgery at one point but this man that calls himself a surgical doctor & comes in there patients rooms yelling! If I could give him a zero I would

Dr. Nunoo is the best! I had to go to the ER to get an emergency surgery, and every single point of contact with the Wake Med Cary hospital was so comforting and kind. Dr. Nunoo had been operating all day, and he stayed through the night to work me in, starting my surgery at 1:30 AM rather than making me wait another day. I wanted to cry from all the kindness. He has answered all of my questions on the app, eased any fears I have had, has great bedside manner, and has really minimized any scarring for me. From my heart, I am so appreciative!

We could not be more pleased with Dr. Nunoo. He took on an extremely difficult case with me that had many possible complications and expertly guided me through the entire process. My 10 hour surgery was a success and he has been diligent on follow ups and managing any issues. The office staff has been extremely professional and friendly making a rough situation much more bareable. I would highly recommend Dr Nunoo and his staff!
