Seemed great..at first
Having been referred by my ENT Dr., with severe acid reflux, in my initial appointment with Dr. Pecha he seemed dialed in on my concerns & symptoms regarding years of ongoing esophagus issues, increasingly getting worse. Although he did first mention that a standard colonoscopy should be done! I declined stating I had no issues regarding that part of my GI tract. Sadly, after tests never scheduled but told I would need-an endoscopy done at his clinic (and again pushing to perform a colonoscopy too at the same time) he looked no further, provided no diagnosis, my symptoms remain, he suggested 3 mos. on a questionable prescription as an experiment. He again! focused on my getting a colonoscopy at his clinic just to cover that base. Since I’ve no knowledge of of my esophagus being connected to my colon nor lower GI causing coughing & choking, I again declined. Now referred to a lung doctor to address my throat/ esophagus issues as he said he had no answers.

A sales job with worst aftercare ever
Went in with digestive problems. Let’s do both endoscopy and colonoscopy. Said I have h pylori and took antibiotics. No retest. Symtoms never went away. A ten minute video call each time looking at the chart to see who I am. One prescription didn’t work. Couple months later, increase. Asked about h pylori. I never thought you had it. Really? Took myself in. Sometimes not even get a response. I went seven months and got nowhere but three ten minute video calls. Take a prescription and talk to me in a month or two? Seriously. I absolutely felt totally uncared for. Just pushed off with no attempts to figure out cause. Felt like a sales job. Now I had to worry if the job was even done right. Went to the Bay Area and had both procedures redone. Month and a half later, on the road to recovery. Now why should any patient have to go through this twice, let alone once and suffer for some seven months because your to busy to care? No patient should feel uncared for.

Dr. Pecha tentatively diagnosed my health issues after multiple doctors here in Sacramento and at Stanford could not. I had tried every suggestion from dietary changes to psychiatry with hypnosis and acupuncture in between! NO help until I saw Dr. Pecha! He talked and listened to me and problem solved after looking at every available test. His first prescription after all of that seems to have been the answer. Dr. Pecha treated me with respect and close attention at every juncture. I think he's brilliant in addition to being my friend. I am grateful!

He is an uncaring physician who does not like to return calls or answer patient’s questions. The worse bedside manner of any physician I’ve ever come across. I had left two messages at his office to call me and he never did. When I finally got a chance to ask him, his response was that his office is not an emergency room! I’m glad I did not have an emergent issue! Recommend avoiding this guy at all cost.

Dr Pecha saved my life 9 years ago when another surgeon made a horrible mistake. Now I’m 9 procedures later & healthy. Without the intervention & care and quick action, I don’t know if I’d be here to type this. His compassion through it all still helps with the memories today. I credit you with saving my life Dr Pecha & look forward to some day saying thank you in person. I made it.

Dr. Pecha and his staff are excellent. I had my colonoscopy at the beginning of this week. The procedure went without any problems. I can't say enough great stuff about the Folsom Sierra Endoscopy Center. The team I has Yana in pre-op, Erik (CRNA) and Thao PACU. Thank you!

Dr. Pecha was the only doctor who could listen and actually find the right diagnosis for me after a year long battle. For anyone who ever feels as if their doctor isn't doing enough Dr. Pecha is the one to see. I drive an hour each time I see him and the wait is worth it I am listened to and all of my questions and concerns taken care of by him and everyone else he works with
