Dr. Robert Plummer, MD

On January 14, 2025, I had a second opinion appointment with Dr. Robert Plummer, Surgeon, at the Montefiore Department of Surgery, at 600 East 233rd Street in the Bronx.Dr. Plummer performed a detailed examination of the 2 hernias that were proposed for surgery.He was personable, asked me questions about my symptoms and provided me with more information than I had previously received. I felt at ease with receiving more information to make a better informed decision about how to proceed. I am grateful for his approach. His staff was exemplary and made me feel very comfortable.

Dr. Plumber literally saved my mother's life. Another doctor botched a routine biopsy and punctured her intestine in multiple places. Hospital wasn't giving us any information ?? and my mom was practically left to die. Someone recommended Dr.Plumber. he came in transfered my mom to his hospital and the rest is history.

I had surgery done by Dr. Robert Plummer and I was very satisfy. It was minor surgery but I had no pain after my surgery it was wonderful. I was very please.

Dr. Robert Plummer and his crew are very helpful Dr. Plummer did hernia robotic surgery and Dr. Plummer took his time and explain the whole procedure that will be done to me step by step.

I recently had goldblader and I will tell you that everything went like clock work. starting with the dr's staff at his office, the hospital, and the dr himself. the surgery went well, I hardly had any pain, I am healing nicely. the dr explain everything to me. any questions I had he clear them up. I think he is a very good dr. I would highly recommend him.

I've had two surgeries done by Dr. Plummer and he has done a great job. Very professional and knowledgeable. I was very scared when I found out I needed two surgeries, but he put my concerns to rest and made it so easy for me to get through both sucessfully. He has drastically improved my life. Dr. Robert Plummer was my surgeon for removing my gallbladder due to gallstones. He is an excellent doctor, he is well educated and trained to perform your surgery needs. This was my first surgery , and went without a hitch. I would recommend Dr. Plummer.

Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Plummer. A highly accomplished surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients. Had a double inguinal hernia surgery with him at the Montefiore Waters place. Gorgeous facility, seamless process. Dr. Plummer alleviated any concerns I had and made the process simple. Feeling much better after the surgery, no more hernia.

I was Dr. Plummer's patient in Montefiore (Moses) from November 10th to November 25th. For every day I was on admission, Dr. Plummer came to check on me except for Thanksgiving day. Even so, He arranged for me to be seen by another Dr. He's Caring, knowledgeable and down to earth.

I found Dr, Plummer to be an excellent surgeon and a amiable person. It helps that he an alumni of Cardinal Hayes High School, a friendly rival of my alma mater Mt, St. Michael

Met with dr Plummer on an emergency basis. He was very direct and professional, enough that I allowed him to operate on me.

his office was efficient and my wait time was short. the operation went well, my pain was minimal and the recovery was excellent.
