Left hanging
Dr Robinson was great. Has done surgery on my son and more recently on my husband. On last visit he sent us for a MRI and I cannot get him or his office to respond about the results. I have called multiple times (even though it says not to) but it’s been almost 2 months. We don’t know if we are to have another follow upAppointment or not. My husband is disappointed because he thought the doctor was great and he had also heard so much good about him. My husband has given up on hearing anything but I kept calling because MRIs are expensive and we have a right to know results. We feel like we have been “kicked to the curb”. I don’t know if it is the staff or the doctor but someone has failed my husband. I hate that my husband feels hurtful over this. He was/is a good patient and pays his bills so we don’t understand why we can’t get an answer. Even if the MRI is neg and no further visits are needed then just tell us! No need to keep ignoring us.

Wrong decision
Dr Robinson took it upon his self to put hardware in my back without asking me to do so. Now I'm worse off.

Excellent NeuroSpine & Brain Surgeon
Dr Robert Robinson is spot on, he has the best bedside manner of any surgeon I have been to. He has a God gifted ability to know what each patients surgical needs are. He operated on me in 2009 at Brookwood Hospital on my lumbar 3 levels. I am very pleased with his surgical results and thankful for the successful life I had had thus far. I am thankful he is now at the newest hospital in Birmingham Grandview! Hands down he is the BEST!

After undergoing an unsuccessful laminectomy five years earlier by another surgeon, I decided to listen to friends and see Dr. Robert Robinson. He not only corrected the damage done earlier but successfully removed a cyst that was causing me severe pain. I am very impressed with Dr. Robinson and highly recommend him to anyone needing treatment for back pain.

Dr. Robinson did surgery on my back Oct.1, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center. I chose Dr. Robinson because of the excellent reviews I saw and the many surgeries he had done. He did a Lumbar Laminectomy where a area of my spine was closed in to about 5 mm. He said it would be same day surgery and would be instant relief. Usually there is something one can pick apart and say it could have been better in some area. From going to Dr. Robinson's office and meeting his staff to meeting Dr. Robinson to going to Grandview for presurgery to going to Grandview the day of the surgery everything with everyone was perfect in every way. The surgery has been great if I could leave ten stars with a five star maximum I would. THANKS TO ALL

I went to Dr. Robinson with constant neck and shoulder pain. After MRI he instantly pin pointed the problem. He was very forthcoming about what he could do to help me while being very personable and compassionate. I had neck fusion surgery Dec. 14, 2017 and had a complete success. Dr. Robinson got me out of pain. Other than the expected post-op pain, I have had no pain since! This man gave me back my quality of life!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Robertson and his staff. From the minute you arrive they are caring, compassionate and the patient is their top priority. I have had two surgeries done by Dr. Robertson. One cervical and one lumbar. I am 100% pain free which gave me my life back. I would highly recommend Dr. Robertson. He is not only a great neurosurgeon but a good person in every way possible.
