Dr Rose is a kind, wonderful man but his staff begs to differ. Barreling down someone’s throat for a $400 bill that was accumulated over the course of 5yrs. SMH because people have other bills like rent to pay for/food to put on the table/etc.? If it were such a big deal they would try to work with you or refer you to an organization to forgive the debt. But Dr. Rose sends his staff to speak for, manipulate, make fun, laugh in the face off, whisper about & pass judgement on a patient due to meager financial status. It’s unprofessional & a shame. I know BH’s is money driven/shady/bougee but patients should always come first! $400 is a small amount compared to thousands which would make it seem dire for repayment or one not to be seen. But Dr. Rose refused to consult on a medication and its side effects given to me just because...because I was a poor-a**. Really. Such a shame what the World is coming to in 2020?! It’s not like he wasn’t receiving any monies from my visits. Unbelievable!

I don't doubt that Rose is a fine cardiologist; he treated my dad's heart issues very successfully over the years. However, as my dad aged, Rose acted like a GP when my dad had non-heart issues. He dismissed both me and my concerns as if I was beneath him. When my dad asked me to accompany him to his appointments, Rose would not even look at me when I was in the room. I was made to feel like an intruder. Nevertheless, I identified and addressed my dad's symptoms of dementia and Parkinson's but for years Rose refused to suggest a specialist ("the shaking is probably due to a drug side effect"). I got the feeling that Rose thought he was the only god and that I shouldn't question his judgment, ever. Very old school. It took a couple of years, but I finally convinced my dad to see a gerontologist, who diagnosed him with ... Parkinson's dementia.

Dr Rose is an understanding person, listens carefully to what you have to say, and discusses each problem carefully. Small or large, everything is important and given thought. He is not a machine that automatically looks at his watch every few minutes. Your time with him is well spent. If you need him on the phone-he calls you back with the same care that you receive in the office. Since finding him I won't go to anyne else. Dianne Keogh
